The Jacobys
WENDY’s brows were almost meeting in a line now. Her forehead creased with confusion as she just stared at Kaiser who just suddenly blurted out the Jacobys.
“You mean Grey?”
Kaiser did not answer. He looked appalled and angry at the same time. His eyes continued lingering at a corner, his stare getting sharper, teeth gnashing.
‘Odd.’
Suddenly, alarm kicked into Wendy’s system. Something was definitely not right. How could she not feel that right away? She turned to where Kaiser’s eyes were locked and she was greeted by the door to his study. She saw no one.
“What’s wrong?” she asked, her heart still hammering inside her chest.
