Chapter Four I stretched my limbs as consciousness returned to me. Though if I thought about it, I had no idea when I'd lost it. Potentially some time on the cart. I ran my hands over my head, trying to check nothing was bruised or bumped. It was only when I was halfway through I realised my arms and legs were no longer bound. Satisfied I hadn't been knocked out, I turned my attention to my new surroundings. Ah. I appeared to be in a small room with harsh stone floors and metal bars across the front of it. I was in a cell. And had no recollection of how I'd gotten here. I shouldn't be in jail. Not when I hadn't done anything wrong. Unless I counted leaving my tower, which I didn't.
