“Oh!” I stop short, startled to see the man I was going to see standing on the other side of my threshold.
“Hi!” Shay breaks into a wide smile, obviously thrilled to see me.
I beam back at him. “I was just coming to see you.”
“Guess I beat you to it,” he says good-naturedly.
I frown as I look behind him and see a camera crew. T.J. and Jamie are standing just behind them. “I thought you guys were headed back to California.”
“We circled back and never left the island,” Jamie tells me. “Once I saw the footage for the show, I had the feeling there would be a great opportunity for some follow-up shots between you and Shay.”
T.J. smiles down at her before bending down to give her a light kiss. “And you were right.”
