Interesting
A loud yelling. A loud sirens. Cameras flashing.
Even though those are just whisper, she can hear it loud and clear. But, she couldn't care what they said. After all, I was the infamous cruel monster who killed her own family. She walked confidently in the sea of angry civilians, two police officers guiding her towards the prison as the civilians shouted, and interviewers asked questions. She doesn't care. Instead, she swayed her long, beautiful blond hair, her blue ocean like eyes glimmered along the sun as a bright smile formed against her lips. "I better be good in that f*****g camera of yours."
However, a police officer tightened their grip on the handcuffs, making her wince slightly but still wore that damn smile. "You're quite naughty, I see." The officer face flushed, but he glared daggers at her. "Continue walking." the officer snapped, she chuckled before deciding the officer demand as she didn't want to anger the officer any longer, well, she doesn't really mind, but damn the weather. It was getting hot.
Now, it was cold. Well, not because of the air conditioner, hell she even wished the air conditioner could work outside while the sun touches her skin, atlease she can feel both cold and hot. Is that even possible, though? We'll never know unless we try. Aside from that, she really wished the air conditioner was the only one who's cold. She could deal with that. But, instead, in front of her, a man wearing a black suit. Actually, ignore the suit. She always saw that stupid black suit whenever she'll met a damn rich person or something like that to get information from her. She really couldn't understand what's so good about that suit. It was getting really old-fashioned. Moving on, the man with that black suit, a black hair too, but with a weird hairstyle, wore a cold, sharp red eyes as he narrowed his eyes at her.
"Are you gonna interview me or not?" she started.
That bright, sharp red eyes glared at her as he looked at the paper he was holding. It was full of her information, if she guessed it wrong. "Cellene Amulet." he spoke, his tone cold and deep. And, damn the was kinda hot? "That's my name," she replied.
The man grunted annoyance and shot a warning glare at her. Cellene only smirked, though. It seems like this man with a weird hairstyle has a short-tempered. "So, what's your name?" The man, however, just snorted. "I'm not here to play around with you, so straight to the point. I'm here to ask you questions. Your job is to answer it, honestly."
"Go ahead, Mr. Detective." she cooed. The man eyes twitch in annoyance. He glared at her. "Don't. call. me. that." he snapped. Cellene chuckled, "Tell me your name, then I'll reconsider." There was pause after that. Neither of them want to break the uncomfortable tension. After about a few minutes, he frowned.
"Kaiser."
She raised an eyebrow at that. "That's my name. Don't call me that weird ass nickname." he grunted, annoyed as he ran his fingers on his hair, earning a quiet laughed from the blond. "I see, Kaiser." Something about the blond voice that sent a shiver down his spine, though he couldn't place a finger on it.
He shrugged, deciding to ignore it. "Alright. Back to the point, as I was saying-"
Kaiser proceeded to ask questions about her, asking about the whole detail of the incident. Though he was careful about his words, he didn't miss any words that came out from the blond mouth. It was as if he wanted to see if the blond was lying, but it seemed like luck wasn't on his side as he didn't see any suspicions about the blond. He couldn't read the blond like he always read others. It was as if she came from another universe, and that thought infuriated him to no end. After a few more questions, he was finally done.
"That's all for now." He groaned as he leaned against the chair, putting his arm against his eyes. Why I couldn't read her? He huffed in annoyance. He straitened from his seat once again as he narrowed his eyes at the blond. "Don't think I'm done with you. I'll be back."
A sly smile spread across Cellene's lips. "I'll be waiting."
Cellene was sent to the prison after the interview, though it's only temporary, not until she was proven guilty. No one was actually there in the crime scene, so the police weren't sure if Cellene was the one who killed her own family. But, rumours spread like water, and people started making stories about the blond, saying she was really the one who killed her family, calling her a monster. The officer couldn't do anything about it, but they're trying to stop the rumours from spreading even wider to prevent any worse scenario. Cellene was told to just dealt with it as she doesn't really have a choice but accept the comments.
Cellene really didn't say much about the case and only said some unimportant details. Making the situation worse than it seems. So, in order to make the blond talk, they sent famous detectives to try and make her talk, but she was more stubborn than they thought. Kaiser was probably the sixth detective they called for help so far. But, just like any other detectives, he couldn't get any information, though he wasn't going to give up like them. If the blond was stubborn, then he'll be more stubborn than her.
Kaiser walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. He jolt in surprise as he met with a pair of golden eyes, staring at him with an impassive expression. He signed in annoyance, rubbing his neck. "I told you to make atlease some noise, Nancy."
Nancy, who stood not so far from him, wore her usual impassive expression as she looked at him, her golden eyes piercing him. Nancy has always been like that since the day he met her when they were in middle school. Though, much from his surprise, Nancy has always been submissive when it came to him, always obeying his orders or favours. He couldn't really understand what's her deal with him, but he let her anyway. She was one of his loyal friends, after all.
"Sorry for that, sir." He cringed at the way she addressed him, letting out a frowned. "How's the interviewer?" she asked. Kaiser shook his head, "As others say, she is stubborn." There was a silence after that. Neither of them knew what to say. Thankfully, Nancy broke the silence. "I'll get going now. My partner is probably waiting for me."
Kaiser nodded, "Yeah. You should do that, you don't want to annoy him again, don't ya?" he said, almost teasingly. Nancy let out a small smile at the tease, but she nodded nonetheless. They bid their farewell, after that. Nancy shot him a one last glance before she hesitantly walked away. "I'll see you again, sir." It's the last thing she said before disappearing.
Kaiser grunted in annoyance, "I told her not to call me that."
Cellene sat on the bed, leaning against the wall as she hugged her knees. "Kaiser, huh.." she murmured, her thoughts drifting from the man, his bright, sharp red eyes looking straight at her eyes. A fond smile spread across her cheeks, "Interesting, little thing."
