P A R T 1
The pull in my chest- like the corner of your jacket snagged on a nail- is a strong one. I both groan and let myself laugh. The fun we can have might just triumph the fun we were having right now. "Come Debbita, we have a tug on the line." A sharp female laugh rings from over my shoulder as I stand from my black leather couch. I make my way to the middle of the marble floor and stand on top of a bright and intricate summoning symbol. I had this hall built specifically for any summonings that came our way. It acts as a navigation system, if you will. The humongous and awfully dark manor is built right along a terribly big and near invisible rip in purgatory's veil, which allows me and Debbita the safest of travels.
From my left, Debbita walks over, her thin heeled boots clicking and scrapping just before a cloud of smoke wafts from the depths her hair and gently snakes its way across her body. When all you can see is the darkness, a hawk emerges and lands on my shoulder. From the other side of the thin veil, blood as red as tropit fruit starts to fall to the ground and I grin. It looks like a twisted waterfall pouring from a trick wall. "This should be fun, yes?" I get a squawk from the hawk and then the world is an array of beautifully dark colors. The sensation you get from the travel is almost like silently dropping into a pool of water, only there is no liquid.
Just as quickly as it came, it vanishes. On this side of the summoning charm, I stand in front of a tall, bright headed blonde woman. Down her left hand runs the red blood and in the right she holds chalk which I'm assuming she used to complete the spell. I take a moment to look up and around. I'm not surprised by the choice of location but I am just a little disappointed. I mean, an abandoned warehouse has to be the most cliche of places for a meeting like this to occur. There are steam pipes running along the tall ceiling, broken, soggy, and dirty boxes and containers lying everywhere, and do not even get me started on the crap coating the floor. "This place lacks all of the charm purgatory has," I say in greeting.
The woman's eyes are wide and she remains silent, maybe she wasn't exactly expecting the spell to work. Bored, I look over her shoulder to the man standing like he's about to try to rip my throat out. "Why the..." I motion to his face with my hands. "that face? Am I not all you wanted and more?" Something akin to a growl leaves his mouth and I laugh. "Okay, you summoned and I appeared. How about we get this charade started. Debbita, please come down."
The black smoke fills my vision, it smells of well, smoke and sweet blood. Soon enough two long leather clad legs are dangling from my shoulders. "Your hair is so soft," She purrs. The blonde woman finally finds her motor skills just as the beast boy taps on her shoulder. He shakes his head, and I tilt mine because I know what he was trying to do. Clever boy he is. Debbita is still running her hands through my hair when she speaks again, "Could you please state your reasoning for us being here, I assure you we had other plans tonight."
As if to prove her point, she motions to the whip still in my hand that I had forgotten to drop during our trip and her almost undone bustier. "We only wanted one of you, but I guess this is fine. We need your help--"
"Spare me the long sob story if you will, and point me in the direction of the people you want me to dispose of. That is why I'm here, yes? Why else would you summon the demon that those filthy witches gave the title 'destroyer of all pure', if not to destroy?" The blonde woman lets out a squeak for seemingly no reason. My eyes roam around again and I catch sight of my reflection in a piece of shattered glass. "This body is dashing." I've always wanted that darker blonde hair, but with my insanely smoldering looks it wouldn't normally match.
At least that is what Debbita tells me. Aah, I love body switching. Just to keep things fresh, every time we are summoned I change my appearance. No one knows my true face besides my companion. Debbita's legs begin to swing back and forth and I know she is just as bored as I. So I sigh, then step out of the chalk summoning charm and stare deeply into the blonde woman's doll-like blue eyes. Beast boy steps forward as I do and does what I assume is to be an intimidating growl... Or huff. Hell if I know.
"What do you want, doll? I can only assume it is something gritty that you do not want on your pretty little conscience if it involves me." After I finish speaking, the little doll does something that makes me c**k an eyebrow out of annoyance and laugh hysterically.
She steps forward and into my face, my personal space, and scoffs. Cute little thing is what she is, let us hope for her sake I see her as that for a while, or she might just accidentally end up missing. It would all be a simple mistake of course. "It's not that I don't want my conscience stained, I've had plenty of that. It's that I cannot do what you must. You have to kill the emperor, his soon to be empress, and his first in command."
"I do not have to do anything for you, doll. But you can try to persuade me."
She balks. "Just send him back Mist, he's just going to twist all of your words and mess with your head. We don't need anyone like that on our team. He's just goin-" Beast boy is interrupted by her.
"We don't have anyone on our team that can kill them! We need him," She screams in a very whiny voice that is one hundred percent unattractive. She had the whole school girl thing going until she opened her bloody mouth.
"Deb?" I stage whisper. She leans down so that her face is right next to mine and her hair is blocking my right eye's view. "Do you think I should tell them that once I step out of the charm they have only ten minutes to send me back, and since said ten minutes are up, they couldn't send us back even if they wanted to?" She pets my head and swings around so that her wondrous legs lock behind my neck and her face is to mine. My hands immediately go to hold onto her even more fantastic leather clad ass.
She sends a false whisper back, "No... I think they'll figure it out with some more time." We then both look up with innocent smiles on our faces.

The one who I am assuming is Mist if Beast Boy is anything to go by, goes to pull something out of her back pocket while she walks towards us. Debbita flips off and goes to stand a little ways behind me. I'm assuming she has pulled out the twin blades she always has on her somewhere. When she does get to me, she steps into my personal space and grabs my hand. I of course think it is highly suspicious of her, and I soon find out why when she slaps something onto my wrist that pinches like a bloodsucking demon clinging to you.
Then she steps back and beams at the silver contraption. "And what, pray tell is this?" She just looks so smug.
"That, Destroyer of all pure, is a bracelet. You have to do whatever I tell you to so long as it's attached to your skin." I look to Debbita, and she gives a slight head nod towards the beast boy and I nod back. I cannot believe this little girl would do this to me. She disappears in a cloud of smoke then reappears with her hawk talons positioned to rip through the boy's neck. "Matt!" The girl yells, but I swiftly cover her mouth with my hand so she can't speak and make her look to me.
I can feel my temper rising at the thought of this mortal thinking she is in anyway more intelligent than I. "Do you think this is clever, doll?" I point to the bracelet that won't let up on my wrist. "Well, we're just going to have to rethink our life choices in a moment, but until then, keep your mouth shut or he dies."
My hand retracts and I stare at the bracelet knowing exactly who made it, but wondering how the blonde doll got it. "Toss me your dagger darling." I catch it seconds after Debbita throws it my way then immediately start to slice into my skin. The burning that only accompanies the use of a blade forged in the flames of purgatory greets me as well as a surge of that little high I get off of pain.
What can I say, I am a sick person, but at least I am very willing to admit it. Finally I lift the hand with the blade high and let it fall fast, severing my wrist, hand, and bracelet from my arm. As soon as the horrid piece of jewelry is gone, my hand regenerates in pristine condition with a tiny bit of black blood dotting the bottom of my shirt cuff. My attention is on the girl again, as I pick up the severed limb. "You made me stain my favorite shirt, and that alone would be enough to make me kill you. Instead though, let me make you a deal you cannot refuse. I shall take care of your dirty little demon problem, and you take me to the person who gave you this awful contraption, yes?"
I don't look to see her nod her head. "Come Debbita, we should go to the house, I want a new shirt. Wait, where are we again?"
Doll face is still looking at the hand as she answers,"We're in the United States. Houston, Texas to be less vague. We retreated here after we were almost slaughtered."
"Great! I mean, not for you. Debbita, I love the house here." I can feel my mouth watering at the thought of all my lovely adult toys waiting for me. She runs her nails along the boy's face and whispers something in his ear that must be absolutely naughty if the shiver running down his body means anything. I walk until my chest is to her back and pull her bustier up. "I really do wish they had summoned a few hours later.
Her vibrant laugh rings throughout filthy the warehouse. She turns around and looks at me with her dark eyes, the corner of her mouth is tilted up in that oh so seductive way. She leans in, then abruptly turns and slowly walks away leaving me looking at her amazingly shaped rear. "We'll have time for that later you astronaut." I nod my head slowly and motion for the two others to follow as I trail behind the vixen like a puppy in love.
Debbita will forever be my little delicacy.

When we step through the door, I immediately start removing my dirtied shirt while Debbita goes to fetch a replacement for me. I turn to the guest and see they're staring at me in that strange way only humans can. "So uh, astronaut? I was wondering about it the entire ride," Mist brings up to break the ice I assume.
"Ah, yes. I think she was referring to the time we had very naughty s*x on the ceiling. Great times." Her baby blue eyes widen and Matt rushes to cover her ears. He looks at me incredulously. "What? She asked."
"Actually I was referring to the time when we were in mid air, and you kept bouncing me on-"
"That'll be all for now. How about we get to the important stuff?" Matt suggests quite loudly after moving his hands from Mist's ears.
"Number one, shut up with all the screaming. Excuse my language. Number two, s*x is important, you wouldn't be alive without it. And finally on to number three, yes we can start with what you think is important." I smile darkly and button up the shirt Debbita handed me. "What exactly is the problem with this Emperor and others?"
We start to walk to what I like to call my strategist room. The gigantic metal door greets me and I search for the little panel that hides all of my nicely designed locks. First and foremost is the finger print scan, next is the rectal scan, then the question and answer password, after is the pin, and lastly is the lock that I maneuver within the door with my mind's eye.
The locks all click and the door finally opens. "Are that many locks necessary?" Matt questions.
"Shapeshifters can get through the finger and rectal scan, someone close could get through the questionnaire, but the pin is all mine. Combine them all together, and my things should remain safe. And considering the fact that beneath the plaster is the strongest metal your worlds have ever encountered, this room is the safest place in this city. As it should be considering all it holds."
We walk through the door, and I can see their mundane brains struggling to see any significant items in the room. "All is not as it first appears." Is all I say. I run a hand through my hair and sigh. I walk to the first desk I see and sit in the chair. After I turn to face them, I wave a hand for them to talk.
They answer my previous question. "They're possessed by demons that we think escaped from purgatory." At that I laugh. It is soft but loud enough to scare them. I turn back to the desk and start to bang my hand on it to get a grip. When I don't feel the wood I remember that I'm holding my severed hand in my hand and laugh harder. This is ridiculous.
Finally the attack is over and I place the limb on the desk and face them again. Debbita has taken up residency on the desk I was just laughing on and the two others are standing where they were moments ago, their mouths agape. I wipe a tear from my eye. "You are kidding right? Because if you think a couple of demons just waltz out of purgatory and possessed an Emperor, you are even more unintelligent than I gave you credit for."
"Well, where do you think they came from almighty," Matt scoffs. I set my eyes on him before gesturing to myself.
"Purgatory was built to contain me, someone who can change reality with the snap of two fingers, and you think some low level starving demons got themselves out. No. They got out the same way we did. They were summoned and given a deal. Unlike myself, a bind was most likely tied to them and the summoner so they couldn't kill them. Like always, there is someone working behind the scenes and you need to figure that out before I get to slaughtering people."
"But-"
"No. My job is to kill people, things, whatever you wish to call them. I enjoy that. What I do not enjoy is doing peoples investigative work, so hop on it while Debbita hops on me." I can feel her hands working into my hair again. She pulls me back and next thing I know, all I see is black smoke.
