Hayden's eyes looked confused at Avelyn. "You do?" His surprise was evident in his eyes.

"Yes, I do." Avelyn smiled shyly at him. She couldn't even look at his eyes, so looked down at her lap.

"But how? You have never even given at least a clue!"

"Because I too, didn't have a clue."

"Well, now that we know that we love each other....." Hayden left the last part of the sentence hanging, and just placed his elbow on the table and placed his chin on his palm. With a sweet smile decorating his lips, he gazed at Avelyn.

She blinked several times. "What are you doing?" Her flustered voice wavered under his gaze.

"Hmm" he just hummed in response,and continued to look at her.

"Don't look at me like that!" Avelyn hit him lightly on the shoulder, and turned her head to the other side.

"Whyyyy?" Hayden whined and pouted. He looked cute in his drunk state. But nonetheless, he always got what he wanted. "Please Avelyn....." he blinked his eyes at her, pleading.

"Huh! Don't think acting cute would get you anywhere."

"I don't have to act cute to get what I want" he whispered and placed his finger under her chin and turned her head towards him. His hazel eyes caught her in a daze that she didn't remember when his face got so close to her. His fingers glided up her face on to her cheek, caressing her smooth skin.
