A knock on the door broke me out of my thoughts as Asha’s soft voice came into hearing-
“Hey are you done in there? I really need to pee and Adam is giving me 30 seconds to use the bathroom.”
Freezing at the sound of her sweet delicate voice, I wanted to snap Adam’s neck for bothering her. It was his turn to watch over her today and I knew that I should’ve just forbid him from ever looking after her, but then it’s not like I did a great job of it either.
Clutching the ski mask in my hand, I pondered on putting it on or not, I could just show her my face now, she wouldn’t be expecting it, she wouldn’t be able to fight it. And then, she’d be stuck here with me for as long as I wanted her to be here.
