"What would you think of me now, so lucky, so strong, so proud? I never said thank you for that."- Jimmy Eat World, May Angels Lead You In. Despite being semi depressed from still avoiding her mate, Sophia managed to muster up the courage to get excited to go to school. On the night before she left, her mother and Amaya had the kitchen make her favorites.  They loaded her up with every spellbook, cloak, cute dress and bitchy hex they thought she'd need and hugged her the tightest that night.  What made her tear up was when Fleur ran to her and whispered shyly, "Um, I know you don't see me like family just yet...but you can send me a fire message if you need something." Sophia smiled widely and hugged Fleur tightly, "I will."  When she waved goodnight to Christopher he winked at her and sent her on her way.  Sophia managed to sleep until she arose out of her bed the moment the sun began to rise over Valor.  Getting dressed in a black cloak and a silk red romper with her black converse, Sophia's trunk and bags levitated past her as she went to her balcony. Arching her back, Sophia hummed as she drew the school's sigil on the ground.  Standing in the middle of it, Sophia looked up into the sun, her red hair shining like fire in the morning light. Closing her eyes, Sophia concentrated her entire being before she whispered, "It's time."  Holding her hands up, Sophia's voice echoed as she chanted, "Et sub regnum, et importes mentis saltibus." The air shifted, the world spun on its axis, Sophia was then sucked through a vortex and pulled into the Under Realm.  The dark realm seemed to always be stuck in October, with its ghouls, goblins, witches, and tricks there was never a dull moment. In this ominous place that oozed of danger and s*x appeal, in the shadows creatures of all kinds came out to play. With a demon club not too far away, there was also a 24/7 rave, another club but witch's only, and two dive bars.  But Sophia's main destination was the heart of the Under Realm.  Sphynx Prep was a large luxurious castle hidden in the dead center of the Demented Woods. Named that due to its wild creatures, frightening shadows that moved, and the hex that plagued the grounds.  They said if someone weak went those woods without proper training, they'd lose their minds if not their lives. And then they'd just be another lost soul tormenting and tormented in the dark woods.  Teleported into the entrance of the school, Sophia giggled when she was immediately engulfed in hugs and looked at Topaz. Her friend looked killer in a topaz cloak and a black romper with a plunging neckline, her heels adding a good five inches to her height.  She had her long curls framing her face wildly, while her light caramel skin seemed to glisten. "Are you ready for this?" Topaz smirked at Sophia's question and answered with, "I have a bottle of Witcheria in our room for tonight." Sophia smiled and admitted sheepishly, "And Ambrose hooked me up before I left."  Topaz c****d her eyebrow in surprise, "With what?" Sophia blushed, "A little weed."  Topaz's jaw dropped in surprise, "Momma's proud!"  Sophia hadn't been a party girl at all. Even with the little fun, they had in their diamond year it never boarded anything any parent would disapprove of. But Sophia was here to make memories, it was her last year and she wanted to enjoy it.  Topaz pulled Sophia into the auditorium where they had the bleachers out and ready. Everyone sat down laughing and talking. Topaz hugged her bestie as she exclaimed, "So how full-on bad girl are we going this year?"  Sophia smirked causing Topaz to cheer, "It's worked I've corrupted you!" Sophia laughed as they fell into their seats, Ezra and Charlie sitting in front of them smiling.  Looking at Sophia, Ezra teased, "Oh really?" Topaz chuckled noticing Sophia was blushing, "Come to our room tonight boys. We're partying together for our first night."  After the boys agreed a hush fell over the auditorium as their headmaster walked to the podium and boomed out his welcome, "Welcome back students of Diamond and Gemini year!" Everyone clapped and their headmaster held up his hand silencing them, "And for our new students," Everyone looked at the wide-eyed newbies shaking in silence, "good luck."  Everyone laughed as their eyes grew the size of saucers and exchanged looks. "Aww what babies." Topaz cooed at them.  Looking up when their headmaster spoke again they heard, "For those who do not know, I am Headmaster Malchior. I will be overlooking your training as well as the rest of Sphynx Prep's amazing professors."  Everyone clapped for the professor's lined up looking severe.  Chuckling since she knew half of them were the nicest, Sophia and Topaz both mocked the last of their headmaster's speech, "Well now you may retire for the day. Your school's schedule will be delivered shortly. Enjoy, have fun, and please Gemini's do not haze the younger class."  Both girls stuck out their tongues at the last sentence.  They were tricked, hexed, and messed with so these kiddos were going to get it.  Running out of the auditorium, both Topaz and Sophia were giggling when Ezra and Charlie joined.  Kissing Topaz like he hadn't seen her in years, Charlie groaned as he pulled back and then asked, "So what do you two trouble makers want to do tonight?"  Topaz giggled, "Well I don't want to start the year off hungover especially since we don't know when our classes start and what they'll have us doing." Sophia hummed in agreement, "Yeah so we're just going to hang out in our dorm. We have the entertainment, you guys are on food."  Ezra awkwardly reached out and tucked a strand of Sophia's hair out of her face and told her, "I'll get your favorites. See ya?"  Sophia slowly nodded and watched Ezra walk away with Charles after pried him off Topaz's face. "You need to tell him it's not going to happen babes," Topaz told Sophia giggling as she grabbed her friend's hand. Sophia sighed as she and Topaz began heading to their dorm room. Walking up the black spiral stairs to their room in the east tower, Sophia turned to her friend, "I don't know how to do that. I think it's going to sound conceited if I say, "Sorry I know you like me, but it's never going to happen so stop trying." I mean I'd feel like a huge b***h, and I'd hurt one of my friends."  Topaz and Sophia began kicking off their boots and getting into their cute joggers and halter tops. "It doesn't have to come across so mean," Topaz said calmly as she twirled her long curly brown hair up into a ball with a silver chopstick. "It can be a nice conversation of you telling him the truth. Ending with you making sure he understands that you like him, just not like how he likes you. And that's okay because you're still his friend."  Sophia groaned, "That sounds painful."  Topaz shrugged, "No more painful than sitting back letting him pine for you knowing you'll never care for him the same way back."  Sophia sighed shaking her head, "This is stressing me out." Grabbing the black wooden box with the pretty carved swirls and wildflower on the top, Sophia grabbed one of the already prerolled joints. Ambrose had hooked her up with almost two hundred of those. Not to mention two ounces of weed to be rolled later after she was done.  Topaz shook her head and looked her friend amazed, "I didn't think I would believe it until I saw it." Sophia smirked as she snapped her fingers and lit her blunt. "Believe it sister cause we're about to get stoned and once you pour the Witcheria this party will really get started."  Soon both girls had two cups of the boozy purple liquor designed to only need one glass to get you supremely f****d up.  Both girls were giggling and smoking a joint when the boys finally came to join them.  When they ate their dinner, all their favorites, with a chocolate dessert and milkshake they all laid on the fury rug they had put down on the floor.  "You guys' room is yet again the spot," Ezra told them stoned out of his mind.  But it was the truth. When Topaz and Sophia entered into their first year and were luckily paired together, it was rumored their room was the best decorated.  Their boho chick style was both gypsy and airy. With white silk curtain hanging from their roof and intertwined into their four-poster beds in a wildflower design when you glanced up. They had white tapestries one with a bat surrounded by red flames( Sophia) and the other a black Skelton meditating in front of a red sun (Topaz) hung over their beds.  Topaz's bed had white curtains and a black quilt while Sophia's was the opposite. They had hung fairy lights around their room and both of their stuff was already unpacked.  Charles hummed as he leaned into Topaz's neck, "We need to get going. We might get our schedules tomorrow."  Both boys moved sluggishly out with waves to the girl. When Charlie kissed Topaz good night, Sophia stiffened when Ezra moved closer to her like he was going to follow suit and kiss her. When he seemed to notice her apprehension, Ezra instead hugged her and bid Topaz goodnight.  Both girls exchanged knowing looks before crawling into bed and falling out on their faces.
