''Jax, are you listening?'' An irate tone from my brother's voice broke into my thoughts.
I was leaning against the window frame after our morning meeting, with my arms crossed as I looked out over the garden where Madelyn was running around and playing with the children from the orphanage.
''No'' I admitted.
Koda turned angrily in his seat, and pushed away from the desk as he stood and came over to me ''What are you looking at?'' He asked and looked out ''Oh, it's Maddie, she looks like she's having fun, she must be over her cough''
''Yeah''
''She looks so happy with the children'' Koda said with a slight longing in his voice ''Do you think she'll want children soon?''
''Maybe''
''What's with you?''
''Have you noticed anything off about her lately?'' I finally voice
