MADELYN'S POV
I was having such an amazing dream of splashing around with the twins in this beautiful rockpool, Jax was showing off, and jumping from the highest cliff, and causing water to splash all over us as Koda tried to shield me while laughed, but then the dream shifted, and I was back in the garden with Koda lying unconscious beside me, while I bled out on the ground with Jaxson screaming and shouting at me.
I woke with a gasp, and it took me a moment to remember where I was. The soft sounds of snoring from my mates helped that realization come quicker, and I looked over at Jaxson who was lying on his side facing me, with his hair cascading over his eyes.
I wanted to see his gorgeous face and gently brushed the hair back over his ear, and stroked his cheek.
