KODA'S POV
I heard my alarm going off at dawn, and I reached over to Maddie, but when reality seeped in, I remembered she wasn't with me, and I was on a cot in a tent.
I groaned and stretched as I shut the alarm off. My phone was on it's last bar, so I was lucky it had enough charge to last until today, I threw my phone into my bag and looked up at the roof of the tent.
When I heard Jax climb off his cot, I looked over to see him rubbing sleep from his eyes ''Morning''
''Morning'' He stood up and stretched ''Why are you just lying there, get up''
''Just basking in the last few seconds of peace''
''Yeah, well your peace is up'' Jax teased and threw his pillow at me ''Move your butt''
''On second thought'' I threw the pillow back at him, as he knelt beside his bag to grab out clothing
