After we got home, the healer was waiting and quickly examined Maddie, who made it difficult by fussing and trying to push the healer away.
''Stop'' She growled and tried to climb off the sofa ''I don't want you to have my blood!''
Jax grabbed her and sat down, he pulled her onto his lap while I grabbed her arm and held it firmly for the healer to draw some blood to test it.
''Why are you doing this to me!'' Maddie pouted, her bottom lip trembling ''It's my blood, I want to keep it, get your own!''
''I know baby'' I smiled and kissed her forehead ''But you have to, please, for me and Jax''
''Will she give it back?'' She asked, her eye's still not focused and her voice still slurring her words.
''Sure, tomorrow'' Jax lied
''Okay'' She relaxed and looked up at the ceiling
