KODA'S POV
Maddie was still sleeping soundly in the middle of the bed when I walked out of the bathroom in my towel. The room was cool, and I went over and threw another log on the fire, before going over to Maddie.
I sat on the edge of the bed, on Jax's side, not wanting to get water all over my side, and looked at my mate. She was breathing softly, and her hair was sprawled out around her beautiful face.
Even after weeks of knowing her, I still felt like pinching myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming, I'd really never imagined having such an enchanting mate, and I wasn't looking forward to be away from her.
I gently brushed her hair aside, and kissed my mark on her exposed throat, and she murmured something incoherent in her sleep.
I hated waking her, Jax and I kept her up all nigh
