Chapter Four

There was a knock on the door

"This is ..... , she paused Good morning Sir", she said, trying to suppress her anger.

I need you to sign somethings for me , he said showing her a pile of paperwork.

" Sir I am not meant to do that, it's not my job", Tessa said trying to protest.

"I do not care Ms Roberts, I am your boss and you obey me.",

" You are not the boss if my life", she interrupted, raising her voice.

" Careful now Miss, you know it would take me nothing to get you sack and just by snapping my fingers, I can get you replaced", He said smirking.

Tessa was so angry that she could already see herself strangling this imbecile ,but she couldn't. No matter how much she hated this man, she needs this job.

" Th...ank you Sir", she said turning to leave.

" No no, Miss Roberts, paper works",

" oh sorry I...I forgot", she said coming over. Mr Martins lighted a stick, intentionally blowing out smoke on her.

" I should take my leave now', she said

" And call me Liam, I need him to do something for me',

" I thought this was your day off.....and do you mind if I sit here" , Tessa looked up, it was Liam obviously.

' You just can never ever predict Mr Martins, he's just you know like that.", Liam sat down.

" so .. have you considered my proposal ",

" what proposal", she asked

There was a pause, as they both ate in silence. It was lunch break.

" you know Liam", Tessa said breaking the silence," sometimes I wonder what I am doing here."

" Working I assume", Liam said.

" It's just all frustrating", she said " I just can't take it t any more", Tessa said

" I can help you out", Liam said," though you keep blowing me off, I can",

" What can you do ", she asked.

"Well... a lot of things, but for now I can help you with a reliable plan of mine ",

" mhmm , I am listening ",

" You can go sit right at a pond, the one we both know and do a lot of hand stands then kiss a frog-",

He was still interrupted by Tessa who tossed something at him

" Can you be serious at least for once" she said

" Well what I know is that there would be a reshuffle ",

" so Mr Martins is going to go, finally ",

" No not him but a new guy is coming ",

" How do you know", Tessa asked looking at him

He nodded not giving her a response.

" So what of my proposal", liam asked looking at her funny.

Tessa stood up," I think I should be going",

" And you say you don't blow me off". Liam stood as Tessa walked away quickly.
