I sat in the chair waiting for my therapist. I had finally bit the bullet and started seeing him about two months ago. Not long after the night that I blocked Frankie from everything, I ended things completely with Abby, quit drinking and the guys and I even decided to stop chasing our rockstar dreams and be adults. I vowed that night that I was going to make changes and so far I was sticking to it.
Veronica had received a promotion at her firm and was traveling to New York frequently so I was taking on more responsibility as a parent. I had the support of my friends and family, and was in a happier, healthier mental state than I had been in a long time. I looked up as I heard the door open and there was James.
