Meeting Her

925 Words
Delan's POV With music pounding in my ears from my earphones while I walk down the street, I see Crystal Evans, who we all know as Chrissy storming out of her house heading down the street looking upset. Feeling concerned I followed behind her but keeping at a distance not wanting to freak her out. She looks great even from behind but gorgeous face to face. Her long black hair with streaks of blue was tied in a ponytail, she has beautiful bright brown eyes, straight nose and full lips I could kiss all day if she'd let me, her small body had curves in all the right places...I think she's around five feet three inches tall. It was on a weekend when I first saw her, I noticed she had little twin sibling who were playing on their front lawn when a guy and Chrissy came out of a car and walked to them. Seeing how they jumped at him I could tell they had known him a long time, not to mention the way she smiled and looked at him even the blind could tell they are close. I had just moved here at the time with my mother and start school a week later, becoming friends with Nick and two other guys but never once talked to her. I caught myself staring at her a few time when she would hang out with Nick in the hall way where we would always meet up and I just couldn't help it at times. She walked up to Nick covering his eyes from behind him before hugging each other then Nick introduced her to a few of his friends and me, I never said hello I just nodded my head at her. She's just not the type of girl I would normally go after yet somehow every bone in my body wanted to be close to her besides am not the type girls would take home to meet their parents considering the fact that I'll leave once I get what I wanted. Wonder how farther she plans on going, I've been tailing her for like half an hour or it seems like it, she really should be more careful at night I don't think she even realize someone is following her. Finally, she stops in front of a cemetery, why would she go to a cemetery at night? most people would think twice but I can't help being more curious. She walks almost to the middle of the cemetery then stops and sit facing a head stone with the name Derrick Evans engraved on it. I immediately realized it's her father's but I thought James was her dad. Seeing her sad face, I walk over to her and tap her shoulder causing her jump and scream a little. Can't help but chuckle at the horrified look on her face. "What the hell?!" She yelled under her breath. "Sorry I scared you." I said trying to hold my laughter in. "You don't sound like it." She says standing up to face me. "Why come to a cemetery if you're easily scared then?" I ask bursting into laughter. "Because...it's the only place I can be at peace." I could hear the sadness in her voice. "Oh am sorry" I said feeling bad for her. "What are you doing here anyway?" she asks and I remembered why I'm here. "Not gonna lie...I followed you." Looking at her face to see her reaction from my answer, she looks confused and I can't help smiling. "You followed me? Why?" she asked. "Well I was going about my business when I saw you storming out of your house looking upset....feeling concerned!.....I followed you....your welcome."  I said watching her expression change from confused to embarrassed. "Oh, well as creepy as that sounds thank you." She said trying not to make eye contact. "You know...you should be more aware of your surroundings  I could have been a killer or something" I told her in a serious but friendly tone. "You should maybe get home now, your mom must be worried." "Maybe, maybe not...but your right I should get home." She said turning around making her way back to the road. "I'll walk you back then." I yelled catching up with her, our walk back is silent but I'm okay with it. She looks calm and peaceful as if she's the only one here which makes you feel comfortable. "We're here." She said pulling me out of my thoughts.  "Oh, yeah, yeah, well you have a good night then." I said looking at her giving me a friendly smile. "Yeah, you too" She said then makes her way to the front door but suddenly turns back. "Where are you going?" I asked looking at her a bit confused. "Let me ask you something...that day you stop in front of me...what was that about?" She asked tilting her head to the side a bit so she  could look up at my face. "Oh that's because I like you Chrissy." I said smirking at her as the words smoothly rolled off my tongue before walking away. "What?!" I heard her say as I keep walking, leaving her standing there and I couldn't help smiling but pretend not to hear. "Have a good night!" I yelled making sure she heard me. I stand at my front door watching her to make sure she went inside, she hesitated for a while then eventually went in and so did I making sure to lock the door behind me.
