Tiger was sure she still looked shell-shocked as she walked into work the next morning, Fizz scampering at her feet. She knew she was right when Sarah gaped at her. “What’s up? Are you okay?”
Tiger blinked. “Apparently I’m getting married.”
Sarah gave a whoop and came to hug her. “That’s wonderful, Tigs!”
Tiger let her hug her and tried to smile back at her. She couldn’t quite believe it herself, and it wasn’t just because Lazlo had proposed over the phone. She’d said yes. She’d said yes. And it hadn’t occurred to her for even a second to say no.
