Chapter Fourteen – Breath Control

Apollo Rose opened the door of his apartment to see his sister and Lazlo outside. “Surprise!”
He gaped at them for a few seconds, then laughed. “Well, you got me. Come in…”
He stood aside to let them in, and Tiger hugged him as she entered the apartment. He kissed his sister’s cheek. “We weren’t expecting you for another few days.”
“We came home early because we have something to tell you.”
Nell greeted them, too, and Daisy waddled over to cuddle with her aunt. Tiger held her close.
“So, what’s the news?”
Tiger glanced at Lazlo, and they both grinned before Tiger turned to her brother. “Please don’t be angry or hurt… but Lazlo and I… we got married.”
