Dex Loomis had been apoplectic with rage when Grant Waller had called him to tell him that Tiger had married Lazlo Schuler. Waller had sounded almost as if he were mocking Dex. It had been a mistake to get the journalist involved.
Dex had thought, after Waller’s attack on Tiger, that he’d found someone who shared his hatred of her, that he would be willing to facilitate what Dex needed from him: Tiger’s demise.
