"Happy Birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, dear Zeke!Happy birthday to you!" We all sang to my baby boy Zeke, who just turned 5, and he will be the same age as his older siblings until 6 months from now. Everyone cheered as he blew out his candles in one go.
After a full evening of birthday celebration, we were winding the kids down with stories by the fire. The kids were drinking hot chocolate and were sitting in their lawn chairs, all wrapped in blankets. I was sitting beside my mom on the bench. I leaned my head on my mom's shoulder as I listened to Cruiz's animated story he was telling the kids. I smiled when he'd act out the parts. Some stories weren't made up. Some were made up.
