My dear wolf

It was a beautiful morning on the park, like always, but today was special. It was the day we've been preparing for so long. Since last month my park has been a mess with all the preparations that had to be done for today. And I was so excited, that I have not been able to sleep well the last few days. Today was the day the seven wolves that were sold to me arrived. The zoo where they were was suffering from financial problems, and because I was friends with the owners they decided to sell me the wolves, I refused at first and tried to help them get over the crises in other whey, so they could remain opened, but it was no good. So I decided to accept their offer and now here I am, stuck in my officer with the lawyer in front of me, signing the last paperwork for the transfer to be completed. At the same time on the other side of the park the wolves were being examined and transported to their new home by my veterinary team. They were making sure the wolves where ok after the long trip. And with all the paperwork that had to be signed, I haven’t even seen the wolves yet. And I was starting to grow inpatient wen the lawyer smiled and handed me another paper. - This is the last one, you just have to sign here and here and it’s all done. – I smile to her and sign were she told me to. After I finished signing she gathered all the paper and handed me a copy, off them all. We shock hands and I leaded the way to the door. I bowed a last time to her we said our goodbyes. As soon as she was out of sight I started jumping around out of happiness and run straight to the wolves habitat so I could go see them. I stopped only to again greet some off my employees and then I started running again the people that sow me laugh a little after seeing me so excited. - Be careful, Y/N or you will hurt yourself. – One of them said to me. - Don’t worry ajusshi, I will be fine. – I said to him. They all knew me well some of them knew me since I was little so I was really comfortable with all the people working on my zoo. Finally I reached the place and enter the back door that said “Staff Only” without paying attention and I almost fell on the ground because I crashed against a strong chest. Luckily the person grabbed me before a reached the flour. When I lock up I see the smiling face of one of my best friends Changkyun. - Thanks, Changkyun oppa. If it wasn’t for you I would have hurt myself. – I said smiling at him and getting up on my feet. - Always here for you. – He said as he winked at me and making me laugh. Then the door behind him opened and a smiling Minhyuk, another one of my best friends, came out of it. - So our little Changkyun finally decided to make a move on our angel. – Said Minhyuk gesturing to Changkyun’s hands that just now I noticed where still on my arms. Changkyun noticing that quickly toke is hands of my arms and locked at Minhyuk. – Hyung, that’s not it. – He said and I could have sworn that is chicks got a little red. - If you say so, who am I to say otherwise. – Minhyuk said with a teasing smile on is face. – So our angel is here to meet the new boys? – Minhyuk, me and Changkyun have been friends for forever and we are almost like siblings they helped me a lot when my parents died and booth of them work with me on the zoo. Changkyun is my head veterinary and Minhyuk is my head nurse. I wouldn’t be half as successful in what I do if it wasn’t for this two dorks that I love so much. They are my family and my rock on tough times. - Yes, Oppa! – I said smiling to him. – How are they? - They are fine, they are still sleeping as the anesthetic hasn’t worn off yet. When they wake up, we have to observe them to guarantee that they don’t suffer from any complication from the meds, but they are seven strong and healthy wolves. So I’m sure they will be just fine. – Said Changkyun turning to face me again. - So can we go see them now? – I said with sparkling eyes. Changkyun and Minhyuk laughed at me and Minhyuk responded to my question as he got is arm around my shoulders – Yes, angel we can go see them right now. And don’t make that face is to cute. – He said pinching my chick. I laughed a bit at that. - Hyung! – Changkyun said a bit annoyed. - What, I didn’t do anything wrong. – Minhyuk said shrugging his shoulders and an innocent look on his face. Changkyun just sighed and opened the door as Minhyuk guided me. As the three of us entered the room, my eyes instantly set on the wolves lying on the blankets. They were all beautiful, four of them were grey, other two were brown but the one who made my jaw drop was outstanding, his fur was completely black, like the night sky without stars. I was mesmerized by him. It was strange I felt something change inside me, I don’t know what, but something was different. Maybe it had something to do with what happens to me on the new moon.
