Alphonse stayed at the prison for a whole month which burned his very soul to be there.
His mind was hurting every time he saw Aurelia passing by, his mind was afflicted in fury and He took advantage of his state.
And augmented his misery.
People were bewildered to fathom at the duration he spent at the prison.
He is usually released in a few days but a whole month blinded his mind in utter rage.
“I came all the way from London to get you out.” He chuckled darkly, back to his darkly dim place where he sat on his throne.
A vile smirk lingering on his lips, scanning his form in amusement.
“Thank you.” Alphonse breathed out, looking down.
He was just out of the prison in white loose shirt with buttons open and gray trousers.
“This is not enough.” His smirk grew wider, leaning, his hand moving forward.
Showing how perfectly his black sleeves are rolled accompanied with a tan and a tattoo of a scythe on the back of his palm.
“Show me your gratitude properly.” Ordering, he looked up at Alphonse who swallowed hard. Detesting every second here.
“Yes.” Whispering in defeat, he came closer, bent on his one knee and put his forehead on his knuckle as a show of pledging loyalty.
“How does it feel? Did it evoke resentment for her?” He asked, he knew it was burning his very soul.
Alphone hated doing this but he was powerless at the moment.
“I am grateful to you.”
Alphonse hated those very words.
He would rather gargle in acid than to be in his debt.
“You should be.” He hummed, yanking his hand away, his elbow rested on the armest.
“So, did it hurt? Being betrayed by the person you searched for years.” He asked, putting his one leg over the other as a display of his authority and dominance.
“By someone you were growing crazy about.” Remaining silent, Alphonse moved back, going back to the middle of the room.
“How does it feel, Alphonse?” He asked seriously, hitting his sensitive nerves, severing his ability to think.
“Thank you for getting me out.” Alphonse whispered, trying to disregard his words.
But failed, they are affecting his mind immensely.
“You know it’s not an ordeal for me. I would have gotten you out in a matter of a snap.” He began to say nonchalantly.
And then his sinister smirk grew wider, burning his core.
“But, I wanted you to stay there and witness what point you reached because of her.” He growled, to find his best man entangled in a useless matter.
“I understand. I deserve it.” He nodded coldly, eyes and voice lacking emotions.
Alphonse didn’t want to show his feelings knowing he would use them to manipulate him.
He must not break before him.
“Good. Did you learn your lesson that emotions are not for people like us?” He asked dominantly, jaw clenching his rage to think about it.
“Yes. I did.” He nodded, not lifting his gaze from the ground.
“You know what to do, hmm?” He asked, making him remember what he promised to do if she betrayed him.
“Yes.” He said with difficulty, throat drying in anticipation.
“Good. When are you going to end her breaths then?” He asked, relaxed in his seat, indulging in his reactions.
“Not yet…” Curling his hand in a fist, he breathed out.
“Hmm?” Arching a brow, he smirked and faltered to perceive what other plans he had.
“I won’t kill her this easily.” Alphonse declared, looking up, staring dead into his crystal blue eyes with his hazel ones.
“Then?” He asked.
“I want her to suffer, to feel the betrayal I did, I want to embed the regret of this ruse in her.” Alphonse ended up growling at his true intentions.
What was trying to conceal came out, speaking of how he wanted to break her for murdering his emotions.
“That’s it?” He asked, smirk absolutely vanished and replaced with direness.
“What?” Alphonse asked in perplexity.
“Is this the extent of your emotions? The end of your chanting?” He asked, displeased to think how easily he was ready to disregard his beloved.
Are truly his emotions this fragile to break in a matter of seconds? He thought in skepticism.
“What else am I supposed to do? Her death is confirmed at this point.” He breathed out the unavoidable fate, it was decided, this is affirmed at this point.
“But, I want to cage her, fulfill all my desires before I give her the punishment she deserves.” Alphonse hissed, a fire igniting in his eyes to lose his mind before wrath.
“Are you truly saying this or is this an act to win my trust?” He asked, narrowing his eyes, not believing his words.
“I leave the judgment to you.” And Alphonse gave him no justifications.
He didn’t care, all he wanted was her in his palm at the moment.
“What a pathetic end.” He muttered, displeased how easily he slipped before emotions.
“Whatever it is, I can no longer save it. She broke my trust, you know it, I was ready to place all my luxury, my everything before her.” Alphonse said calmly, regaining his mind and senses.
“Hmm, Yeah. Too bad she threw away the royal life she could gain.” He muttered, not liking how easily their tale is ending with possession.
“And I couldn't place faith in her words or tears ever again.” Alphonse spoke honestly, his trust is broken.
He can't place faith in her innocence anymore.
“That’s what you get for being emotional.” He sighed, leaning back on his seat. Waving his hand to shrug this matter off.
“May I leave now? I have to cover up the mess I created.” Alphonse said coldly, looking away, gritting his teeth to remember about the humiliation he went through because of her.
“Nah, don’t worry about it. I feel generous today, I will settle it.” He said, gesturing to him to ease up.
“May I know why?” Alphonse asked, bewildered at his abrupt display of kindness.
“You know why I took a month to get you out? Why this very day?” He asked, a malicious smirk reaching his lips again.
Coming to the topic he was building up with twisted words.
“Why?” Alphonse asked, gulping the lump in his throat, knowing it is going to be something unbearable.
“For recreation, I was getting bored, I needed a drama.” He began to say, putting his leg down and leaning forward to espy at his reactions properly.
“Drama? I don’t understand what you are trying to say.” Alphonse asked and he said what he was trying to control all this time.
“Today is her wedding.” He announced.
Alphonse's eyes widened in pure appall, jaw dropping with a painful rush in his body, taking a step back.
“What?!” He whisper-yelled, breaths growing wild with lost senses and rapid breaths increasing his perturbation.
“Ah, what a beautiful reaction. This is what I wanted to see.” He laughed wickedly, voice echoing in the silence hall to show his mock.
That was the agony he was searching in his eyes, the ache.
He gained his pleasure, his enjoyment.
“And you know what?” He paused, rising from his seat, licking his lips in thrill to see Alphonse’s fury.
Whispering assertively, “I am allowing you to let loose, do whatever you want with that woman. I don’t care at this point.”
“What…?” Alphonse’s eyes widened in disbelief but he was not amusing.
“Whether you die or kill her, but I want to see your outcome.” He ordered, seriousness etching on his face.
“Why?” He asked but he wanted them to be his puppets to gratification.
“I want your story to start and end before my very eyes. Do whatever you want.” He whispered, taking another step closer, staring right into his eyes, smile wiping.
And he issued the most unexpected order,
“I am allowing you to blaze this world with your resentment and anger.”
Alphone cannot believe what he is hearing, to think he was truly allowed to attain this shut his mind but it was his opportunity.
Moving his hand to dismiss, He commanded in his supreme voice.
“Go wild, Alphonse.”
That is all Alphonse needed, all authority to let his inner beast loose knowing fortunately he will not see him again.
With a nod of outrage, Alphonse’s steps retreated, taking his men along and leaving to start his tale with Aurelia.
The way he wants.
To write her story with his with or without her consent.
After Alphonse left, he sighed, loosening his tie and opening the first two buttons of his shirt.
“Why did you do this? You know it’s extremely dangerous.” His assistant, Elyna, complained, displeased with his loss of track.
“He might betray you.” She reminded him how dangerous it is.
“He will not. He knows if he does, I will kill her.” He replied in a harsh tone, walking back to his place.
“So it was an act after all.” She asked with an arched brow.
“Of course, he would never graze her skin but she will shatter his heart and I want to witness it.” He shrugged monotonously, undoing his tie.
“For enlivenment?” She asked, narrowing her eyes.
“No, I want to witness his suffering by the one he loves, his devastation.” He hummed, throwing his tie off and giving it to her.
“Why?” He asked when they entered a room where a girl was sleeping peacefully with her hands cuffed to her bed.
Smirking at the woman, he came closer.
Glaring at Elyna to leave them before whispering with his eyes affixed at the unconscious woman in bed.
“So I could remind myself the measly matter of love brings nothing but misery and why ‘I’ should avoid it at all cost.”
