Chapter # 5

In a dimly dark room a man was sitting on a throne. Alphonse was standing in the middle of the room with an expressionless face. His hands were at the back, in his gray waist coat and black shirt, since he rarely wears ties, the button of his shirt was opened, sleeves rolled perfectly to the elbow. “Haha!” A menacing laugh came from the man on the throne, putting his one leg over the other, almost mocking him. But Alphonse was not intimidated by his presence, only etching a sour expression, waiting for it to end. “I can’t believe it, Mate!” A British accent came with a mixture of American. He was barely controlling his mouth and reactions. “So… I have heard you kept a girl with you.” The man said, resting his elbow on the armest, smirking darkly. Knowing all too well he is pinching his sensitive nerves. “I desire her.” He replied calmly, staring dead into his eyes with his hazel ones. “But, a club dancer? What is her worth? Moreover that measly woman at the Jude Mansion?” His jaw clenched, making a tight fist indicating everyone that he is utterly infuriated at his comment. “I want her.” He breathed out, trying to maintain his nonchalance and not explode on him. “I see… Whatever you do, if this woman becomes your malady, you know what to do.” His heart skipped a beat in dread to fathom that day which he must avoid. But at the same time, he cannot. “Hmm?” Humming, the man’s smile faded slowly, moving forward, becoming serious by his lack of response. “Why are you silent? Say. It. Alphonse.” He ordered, rising from his head. Swallowed the lump in his throat, a wry look formed over his hardened features. “If that woman became my affliction,” Taking a halt, his heart clenched but it was the doom he had chosen after all. “Then the one to end her breaths…” Looking up, he stared at the silver eyed man before him. Amused yet displeased at his hesitance. Inhaling deeply, he gave him the satisfactory response, “Would be me.” “Good boy. Never forget who brought you here.” He chuckled darkly, taking circles around him. The sound of his footsteps echoing in the pitch-silenced room. “Never forget who you live for.” Moving behind, he put his hand on his shoulder, leaning to his ear, whispering the only fear of Alphonse. “Never forget who you belong to.” Upholding his facade of dominance, Alphonse turned his head, staring gravely into his eyes again. “I am well aware of my position and status.” He enunciated, trying to control his fury. “Good.” He hummed, letting out a mancing suppressed laugh, reminding him about the bargain he made. “Etch this in your mind, you have sold your soul to me.” This was the extent he could hear to bear and sighed deeply in disappointment, “I know. May I leave now?” He asked, maintaining a fair distance from him, feeling uncomfortable in his proximity. “Sure. Good luck, enjoy your time with your slut.” He shrugged, laughing wickedly, resting his hand in his pockets and walking away with his men, leaving him all alone. “Tsk.” He scoffed after he was left alone, leaving for his office as well with rage piling inside his head. “Boss-” Louis tried calling, hoping to soothe his lava but failed. “Not now, Louis.” He ordered, going back to their car and leaving. “Motherfucker.” Cursing under his breath, he slammed his hand down. “Get me every information about Aurelia. What happened, why she changed her name, everything.” He ordered Louis, leaning back on his seat, rubbing his temples. “Yes, Boss.” He nodded, knowing it's not use in talking about it. A brief pause came and Louis couldn’t take the questions building in his heart anymore and he needed to ask. “What are you going to do? Are you going to drag her into this?” He asked after a silence, praying his rage had reduced a little. “She was dragged into my world the moment I chose it.” He told the bitter reality. He longed for her in the place and him choosing this life is basically drowning her along. But, he shrugged his mind, considering this meeting as nothing and went back to his work and returned to his place. It’s been a week she is here, wallowing in the luxury he was providing her. Entering, he saw Aurelia laying on the couch, using the latest phone he gifted her of her favorite brand. “Oh, Hey.” She grinned, waving at him, sitting up immediately. “How are you doing?” He asked, voice still cold. His mind was still engraved on the afternoon talk, drastically affecting his ability to think. “Amazing! Why do you think I would need anything when you have provided me everything?” She laughed, standing up, grinning widely. His desolated heart found a shore after seeing her, easing his beat. “Good. Also, come to my room after dinner, okay?” He said softly, walking away. “Sure.” She shrugged, not thinking much about it. He didn’t come for dinner, she was perplexed and wanted to call him but the servants stopped her. Shrugging, she had dinner and went to see him. Knocking, she entered, “You wanted to see me?” She asked, observing his majestic room on par with hers but lesser than hers. And she realized he gave ‘her’ the best room which made his heart race. “Yeah…” He hummed in his usual clothes, taking slow steps towards her. Please do not let it be what I think. She thought as her feet glued to the ground, only allowing him to invade her vicinity. “I hope you are aware of my zeal towards you, Aurelia.” He said huskily, coming closer. He was about to touch her face but she moved back. “I-I know but-” Stuttering, she hit the wall, pressing her palm on it, taking shallow breaths, staring timidly at him. “But what? You were ready to please me back at the hotel.” He asked, placing his one hand across her lift, leading down to her face with minimum distance between them. “Because I didn’t know you were my Alphonse.” She breathed out. Her chest blooming to find him so near to feel his minty breath on her face, making her knees weak, taking only support from the wall to stand. “And this changed everything.” She said innocently, hoping he would understand and give her some time to adjust. “Why? Because it didn’t alter any of my yearning.” He asked, anger glistening in his tone which enhanced her impulses. “Alphonse, Please.” She pleaded, shutting her eyes, pressing herself more. Mind going blank to share intimation with him for now. His rage faded, replaced by tenderness as he put his hand around her neck. “Look at me, Aurelia.” Whispering, he sensed her shiver under his touch, moving his thumb slowly over her lips. “I waited for a long time.” Closing the gap, his breath tangled with hers, scaring her by keen action. Enbriating her mind and to increase the sensation, he confessed, “I want you.” Her breath, her mind, her trembles, everything stopped instantly. “Badly.” He added shutting her functioning temporarily by the intensity dispersing in the air. “Please, I need some time.” Her voice broke, pressing her palm on his chest, tears brimming in her eyes. “You are not just a client that I would f**k and get lost in the morning. You are my Alphonse.” A tear rolled down her cheek, pulling his shirt. His gaze became gentle, resenting the tear on her beautiful eyes, “I want things to be special with us…” She said sadly, averting her gaze. With disappointment, she removed her hand from his chest and held the hem of her dress. “But, if you also think of me as a w***e-” She was about to take her top off but he held her hands and kissed them. “Aurelia, I didn’t mean it like this.” He whispered earnestly, detesting himself to think he made her uncomfortable. “No, no, it's okay.” She sniffed, looking away. “No, I was simply expressing my desire for you, my attraction. You don’t have to do it.” He said, giving her hand an assuring squeeze, curling his lips upwards but not in a smile. “You can have as much time as you want, just be mine.” He said, cupping her cheek with his one hand, loving the warmth he received under her touch. “What place do I have left to go anyways? I only have you now.” She said in the same tone, not parting their eyes, immersing in the moment. Leaning down he kissed her forehead and took a step back. “C-Can I go back to my room?” Blushing at his affectionate action, she looked away, heart racing immensely, stuttering. Smirking at her reaction, he winked, “Sure. “ And with this, she ran away shyly with a smile on her lips.
