KNOWLEDGE
POEM 1 Beneath the weight of night gone cold, where dreams lay shattered, dimmed and old, A flicker stirred beneath the pain, A whisper dancing in the rain. When all seemed lost in silent air, And hearts forgot how to repair, A trembling light began to rise, Like sunrise breaking through dull skies. No strength remained, no voice to cope_ yet in the ashes bloomed new hope. it dared to shine, though weak and small, A final breath that risked it all. At last, hope stood_ and would not fall. POEM 2 *WHY NOT PRIESTHOOD* Why not priesthood, you ask of me, When silence walks where truth should be? My heart beats wild with mortal fire, Cloistered walls, robe’s attire. I crave the world, its dance and storm, Yo solemn rites in sacred form. Vow of priest suits my name— I burn for love and holy flame. Let me seek the heavens high, I’ll live, and love, beneath the sky. POEM 3 I Think My Friend Betrayed Me Betrayal from a friend hits harder than any enemy’s strike. It starts with a feeling—quiet, creeping, unsettling. You replay moments, trying to pinpoint the lie. Trust, once solid, now feels cracked and fragile. Maybe it was a secret they told, or support they denied. Suddenly, their silence is loud, their absence louder. You ask, “Was I ever valued, or just convenient?” The bond you thought unbreakable now feels broken. Anger wrestles with sadness, confusion with clarity. Still, part of you hopes it’s a misunderstanding. But sometimes, truth is sharper than hope. Betrayal teaches—painfully—who’s real and who’s not. Now, healing begins where trust ended. POEM 4 TO ACHIEVE BIG DREAM I see a flame that dances high, Beyond the reach of mortal sky, it whispers soft, yet burns so bright, My dream_ my dawn, my guiding light. Through nights of doubt and days of strain, Through scorching sun and biting rain, I walk the path, both rough and steep, With scars l earn and hope. No siren's voice can make me stray, No shadows pull my will away. For every fall, l rise anew, Each bruise a badge, each tear a clue. I taste the sweat upon my tongue, The song of failure l have sung, But still I climb, with steady pace, My eyes set firm on destined place. Let mockers laugh and scoffer sneer, Their echoes shrink when truth draws near. For seeds once buried deep in night, Now stretch their arms toward morning's light This dream l hold is more than gold, Not bought, not bent, not bartered, sold It's carved from courage, stitched with fire, It beats in me_ my one desire. so when at last the summit's mine, And stars beneath my foot
