Blurb

She was never meant to exist.

Born of vampire and werewolf blood, Mia has spent her life caught between two worlds—belonging to neither.

But as her eighteenth birthday approaches, something ancient begins to awaken inside her.

A hunger deeper than blood.

A power older than both species.

And a truth buried long before she was born.

When a mysterious stranger arrives and the world bends at their first glance, Mia realizes—

she isn’t just different.

She is something entirely new.

.......... She turned slowly toward Victor.

Still close.

Still watching her.

Still there.

Her breath came slightly faster now—not from nerves.

From need.

Not the hunger for blood passed between the vampires at the edges of the gathering.

Not that.

Something else.

Something more.

Her hand lifted—

Gripping his shirt lightly as she stepped closer.

“I’m hungry,” she said quietly.

Victor didn’t misunderstand.

His gaze darkened slightly.

“I know.”

She wasn’t afraid.

That was the problem.

She should have been.

But instead—

She ached for it.

That feeling from before.

The pull.

The fullness.

The way something inside her had finally begun to open.

Her eyes lifted.

Locked with his.

And she didn’t look away.

Prologue
The battlefield burned. Smoke rolled across the shattered ground, thick and choking, clinging to the bodies of the fallen. The metallic scent of blood lingered in the air, heavy and suffocating. Kane staggered forward, his breath ragged, dark hair matted with sweat and ash. His body was a map of war—cuts, bruises, blood soaking into torn fabric. The sacred tattoos along his arms pulsed faintly beneath his skin, reacting to the chaos around him. A howl ripped from his chest—but it wasn’t just rage. It was pain. Not his own. He turned sharply. Through the haze, he saw her. Elana. She moved like something untouched by the destruction around her—her dark red hair wild, her green eyes glowing faintly, that strange crimson ring in their center burning brighter than the fires around them. Blood stained her dress, but none of it seemed to belong to her. Their eyes locked. Everything stilled. The war. The screams. The world. A pull—deep, ancient, undeniable—snapped tight between them. Mates. Neither of them spoke it. They didn’t have time. Something unseen tore through the air. A force—silent, violent, impossible—struck them both. Darkness swallowed everything. Kane woke with a gasp. Cold. Still. Silent. He shot upright, instincts screaming, but the world around him made no sense. Stone. Smooth, endless marble stretched in every direction—walls, floor, ceiling. No seams. No doors. No escape. “What—” His voice echoed strangely. “I’m here.” He turned. Elana stood a few feet away, her eyes adjusting easily to the darkness. She was calm—too calm for someone trapped in a tomb beneath the earth. “You see better than I do,” Kane muttered, scanning the endless stone. “There’s… something,” she said softly, tilting her head. “Deeper in.” He followed her. The air changed as they walked—cool at first, then warmer. Softer. And then— A scent. Floral. Bright. Almost like lemon blossoms after rain. Strange. Inviting. Dangerous. A faint glow appeared ahead. They stepped into a hidden chamber. Vines covered the walls, thick and alive, curling toward a shallow pond in the center of the room. The water shimmered faintly, reflecting a soft, pulsing light. At the edge of the pond sat a statue. Carved from clear red quartz, it depicted a woman—long curls cascading down her back, her gown flowing like liquid stone. She leaned forward slightly, one hand hovering just above the water. The glow came from her center. A slow, steady pulse. Kane stepped closer, drawn despite himself. A sharp sting cut through his arm. He glanced down—one of his wounds had reopened, blood slipping down his skin. Elana moved instantly, gripping his arm. “Hold still,” she murmured, tearing fabric from her dress. Their blood mingled between her fingers. Dripped. Fell into the pond. The moment it touched the water— Ripples spread outward. Slow. Deliberate. Unnatural. The glow intensified. Neither of them noticed at first. Kane exhaled slowly. “It’s… already healing.” Elana glanced up at him, something softer in her gaze now. “You’re not exactly fragile.” A faint smile ghosted across his lips. “Neither are you.” A pause. Then— “Kane.” “Elana.” The names lingered between them. “Which pack?” he asked quietly. She hesitated. “Vampire.” He nodded once. “Werewolf.” Silence again. But not empty. The air had changed. The warmth between them deepened, coiling, tightening—the mate bond rising fast, too fast. The scent in the room thickened, wrapping around their senses, dulling thought, heightening everything else. The glow pulsed brighter. Closer. Closer. Their restraint unraveled. The space between them disappeared as he leaned in, and she met him halfway. The kiss was hesitant at first—testing, uncertain—but it deepened quickly, like something long held back finally breaking free. Her fingers curled into his shirt, grounding herself as the world seemed to narrow to just the warmth of him, the steady rhythm of breath shared between them. The warm air pressed against her skin, but she barely noticed. He stepped forward, and she moved with him until the edge of the stone pond met the back of her legs. She let out a soft breath as he gently guided her down, careful, giving her time to stop him if she wanted. She didn’t. The stone was cool beneath her, the faint scent of water and earth rising around them. He hovered over her for a moment, searching her face, as if asking a question without words. She answered by pulling him closer. Another kiss—slower this time, deeper, unhurried. The world beyond seemed impossibly far away. But just for a moment— The surface of the pond shifted. Not from wind. Not from movement. Something beneath it stirred, subtle and watching, as if the water itself had taken notice. Unseen- A vine crept forward. It slithered across the stone floor, reaching a small pool of their spilled blood. Slowly, almost hungrily, it absorbed it. A bud formed. Dark red. It bloomed. Kane’s hand moved without thought, as if guided by something deeper than instinct. He reached down, plucked the small flower, and turned back to Elana. Her lips parted slightly as she breathed his name. He placed the flower against her mouth. She accepted it. Swallowed. A soft sound escaped her—something between surprise and pleasure—as warmth spread through her. The glow surged. Brighter. Stronger. Alive. The vines along the walls trembled. Then stilled. Kane took his time, lifting and slowly revealing her pale flesh glowing beneath, her skin has a soft glow making her skin radiant. Kane was enthralled. Elana gasps, Kane trails kisses along her neck, right along the soft little vein where his mark will go. Kane doesn't wait, His pants are removed in the next breath, his member bursts free, eager and swollen. Elana reaches down and slowly rubs her n*****s, gasping as the form tight little buds. Her Back Arches, begging Kane to continue his exploration. Kane Seeing her moans of pleasure holds himself still, watching her slowly unravel underneath him. The soft glow seems to pulse with each soft moan, her scent deepens, her arousal blooming. He doesn't hesitate, bending down and slowly licking and tasting her taunt little n*****s, pulling one and then the other into his mouth and sucking..biting...drawing deep horse moans from Elana. " Kane, Elana cries, Please.." " What do you need my queen? Look how delicious you are, I have to devour each little peice of you.." Kane slowly runs his hand up her thigh, tracing the taunt little muscle along her inner thigh...higher and higher he runs his fingers...scraping softly drawing soft little moans... Watching Elana Kane can't wait, he runs one, then two fingers around her moist opening, circling then pushing into her. Elanas juices coat his finger as he moves firmer, faster, using his thumb rubbing faster and faster along her soft little numb. " KANE, I can't...", Her voice breaks, dissolving into one long moan as her body breaks. Kane quickly withdrawals both fingers, bringing them to his mouth and tasting, licking her juices. He doesn't wait and thrusts deeply, feeling those tight little aftershocks coating his members and drawing him deep into her core. Elana Screams, the sensation overload crests into another release. He continues thrusting harder and harder into her heat, suddenly he stops, pulls Elana onto his lap. Never missing a beat and continues pounding their flesh together, higher and higher... The Vines, unseen, drift closer, seeking... The tip of the vine drips and traces the line of Elanas bottom, dipping slowly lower, finding her opening... The Vine Pushes in slowly, hesitant, seeking something more. Kane reaches and pulls Elanas plump cheeks wide, opening her to the vines exploration. Elana lost and drowning in pleasure, moans as she feels something soft slide into her opening, the vine presses deep, swelling and filling her tight little opening. Kane thrusts harder, the sounds of their mating echoing in the chamber. Elana, overwhelmed with a deeper desire, cries out, "More, harder, take it from me." The vine pulses, moves, thrusting in and out harder and harder. Suddenly, violently, a second vine wraps itself around Elana From behind, thorns sprout, scraping across her delicate little n*****s. Blood drips down her chest, calling to Kane in ways he doesn't understand, he leans in and laps at trails of blood coating her chest and ribs. Kane suddenly rears back roaring and drops forward, sinking his teeth deep into Elanas neck. Elana screams, the pleasure causing her to see red. The vines reacting, tighten, hightening her pleasure beyond anything she's ever known. Kane releases her neck as a vine wraps around his neck from behind pulling him taunt, opening his veins.... Elana responds Immediately, latching onto his neck and drawing his sweet blood deep into her body. "ELANA", Kane Roars, He thrusts deep and erupts deep into her core and she seizes and explodes around him. The Sounds and crys fade to darkness. Hours later, silence returned. They slept curled together against the marble wall, the strange warmth finally fading into something quiet. When Kane woke again, wind brushed against his skin. He sat up sharply. The battlefield. They were back. Unharmed. Untouched. As if nothing had happened. Elana stirred beside him, confusion mirroring his own. The war was over. The dead remained. But they had survived. Neither of them looked back. Deep beneath the earth, hidden from all eyes— The statue’s glow dimmed. The vines curled inward, wrapping tightly around it, sealing it away once more. Waiting.
