Marisol's POV:
When I woke up, I felt strong arms wrapped around me. I didn't have to open my eyes to know it was River. I could smell his scent around me too. What had happened? I opened my eyes and shifted out of his arms. He was more of a heavy sleeper. I rubbed my eyes softly with the palm of my hand. What time was it? Should I wake him? He said I should, right? I frowned softly and took hold of his shoulder.
"River," I said his name gently as I shook him lightly. He didn't budge. "River," I said his name louder with a firmer shake. He groaned softly as he opened one eye slightly. When he saw I was the one shaking him, his eyes snapped open. Before I had time to process it, I was in his arms as he held me to his chest.
