Third Person's POV
When Allayna and Ayeen finally arrived at the hospital, they were surprised to see so many children being rushed there, and they noticed their unusual skin.
It appears to be burnt, and there are smallpox on the children's faces, and they think they are under the age of five. Despite their surprise and confusion at what they saw, the nurses quickly entered and supported the pregnant Allayna.
Edward and Thanatoz, on the other hand, are still fighting.
“Don't be hard on yourself, Edward; give me your power and your child, and I'll let you live with your wife.” The King said, hatred Edward's heart.
“I will never allow that to happen! You'll go over my corpse first before you get my daughter! She won’t be as bad as you think she will be!” Thanatoz grinned.
“Then face your death; your life will end tonight!”
“That won't happen, Thanatoz, because between the two of us, your life will end!” Edward was about to begin when he stopped and looked at the sky because it appeared that the color was gradually changing, the previously dark sky being replaced by a red that seemed like a blood.
Thanatoz also looked up at the sky, and his eyes widened, then shone with excitement as the moon gradually bled. The reaction of his opposite King perplexed Edward.
“It's time,” Edward frowned, looking up at the sky before returning his gaze to Thanatoz.
“My weapon for all of you will be born!” Edward took a step back and stared in disbelief at the path his wife had taken earlier. At the time, his emotions were mixed: he was happy but worried about his child.
Thanatoz acted, which Edward immediately noticed; he quickly blocked the body in his wife's path and pulled Thanatoz, causing them to get up.
The rotation came to a halt, and both of them rushed out , despite the fact that the King had not yet risen. He attacked with a series of blows because Thanatoz was unable to dodge due to the shock.
“I will never let you use my daughter for your evil desires in this world! Definitely not!” Edward raised his right hand with sharp claws, ready to stab Thanatoz in the heart, but they were both stunned when a strong iron wrapped around them, and when they looked back, they saw the group of werewolves surrounding them.
Thanatoz and Edward both stood together, staring at the werewolves.
Edward shook his head.
“You're wrong, I don't want trouble between us,” Aiden didn't say a word when their gazes met. Edward took a look at his wife's path. He was worried that what had happened to his wife and child, he must have been by her side because he was sure that it would give birth to a child in a few minutes.
When Edward felt his fell vampires, he looked around, and then at Thanatoz, who was now smirking.
Edward doesn't want vampires and werewolves blood to be shed, but it can't be avoided because it was the only way he could see to escape, so he waited for the right moment for the King's disciplines to rush.
When they rushed, he quickly broke the iron coil around his body and he was about to flee when the King grabbed him, and he was surprised that he would be the one grabbed by Aiden, who is currently undergoing a transformation. As it bit his arm, his eyes widened, and he looked at Thanatoz, who smiled horribly and ran away, down the path taken by his wife.
“F*ck! My wife!” Edward was irritated at the time, and he knew that the werewolf in front of him wasn't just an ordinary werewolf, because he feels that it came from the blood of powerful werewolves.
“I beg you, whoever you are. I have a wife and a child, and my child is about to be born in a few minutes, so please let me go,” he pleads, but Aiden just stares at him.
“Please, I'm not a bad vampire. I don't want trouble. Please, my daughter, the King will take her, please I have to save her from the evil King's hand.” Aiden's bite on Edward's arm became more severe; with that force, Edward might have vanished at this point, but because the person in front of him is not a typical vampire, he can still handle what he is doing.
Aiden took a small step back. “What exactly are you saying? Daughter? Are you already insane? No vampire is capable of bearing children!” Edward shook his head, and from what he could see, Aiden was not going to believe him, so he resisted even against his will. Edward took a deep breath because every minute his wife was in danger, so he did not prolong their fight, and he immediately grabbed Aiden, but he ignored him, so he tightly closed his eyes tightly and from the beginning of his appearance Edward immediately stabbed Aiden in the stomach with his hand. Aiden collapsed in disbelief at what had occurred.
Edward frowned and conscientiously turned to leave but before he could finally disappear from Aiden's sight, he said the words. “I'm sorry.”
Cecelia, on the other hand, is still running; she had no idea what to do or where she was going as long as she just kept running, even though her heart and mind were arguing for her to wherever her husband was. While on the other hand
When she saw that the water in her womb had exploded, she abruptly stopped running, closed her eyes tightly, and cried out in agony.
“Edward, where are you?!” he was gripped tightly by the tree in front of her, and she was about to scream again when she quickly covered her lip as she saw the King's vampire allies approaching. Despite the difficulty, she ran away from the scene and looked for a suitable location because she knew she would give birth to her daughter in a matter of minutes. She was distracted while running by the sky, which was very red and looked like blood.
She had never seen the color red in the sky before, and the red moon she saw seemed to have a different energy.
After looking at the sky, Cecelia found herself making her way to the cave; she walked slowly because she felt the baby was about to emerge from her womb, but she was almost out of breath when something suddenly crossed her arm forcefully; she cried out in pain and she saw the devilish smile on the vampire King's lips.
“Thanatoz...” He couldn't believe it, when she took turns looking at its face and behind it. She expects to see her husband but is let down.
“Your husband is gone during these times,” Cececlia's face flushed and her heart pounding. She shuddered and fainted as she tried to get rid of Thanatoz.
“What have you done to Edward?!”
She took hold of her stomach with her left hand, recalling the King's words that he would use her daughter against evil.
“He was killed by the werewolves you care about!” It laughed, and for the first time, fear gripped Cecelia's system as a result of how it laughed.
“That's not true—ahh!” The woman yelled again, and Thanatoz carefully laid her down so she could give birth properly. Cecelia, on the other hand, tries to push the man she constantly curses.
“No! Stay away from me! You can't take my child!” Thanatoz was irritated by Cecelia's struggle, so he choked it without hesitation as a reason to stop Cecelia. She grabbed Thanatoz’s arm, but due to her situation, she was unable to do so.
“Stay away from my wife!” When Thanatoz heard the voice of the man he thought was dead at the time, he frowned.
“You are still alive,” Thanatoz said as he took his hand off Cecelia's neck and she coughed. Thanatoz stood up straight and focused his gaze on Edward's bleeding wound.
“Your wound doesn’t seem to heal and I appear to have overestimated your ability,” The King laughed, and Cecelia's eyes widened along with the King when they heard a loud heartbeat.
Cececlia turned to face her husband, shaking her head in disbelief. “No way, Edward! This isn't possible, your heart is...”
Thanatoz continued with the word Cecelia couldn't say, “Beating.” They are already known as vampires, creatures whose hearts no longer beat. Vampires can survive without a heartbeat, and Edward's ongoing heartbeat will take him to the final destination.
His death.
Edward is no ordinary vampire, and he can only die by beating his heart; if his heart hadn't been beating even a few times, his life would have been in jeopardy, and be would not have died, but not this time.
“Please, Edward! Take care!” Cecelia groaned, already sensing the child's head.
Thanatoz charged after Cecelia's yell, punching Edward, but Edward quickly escaped. Thanatoz's quick attacks can still accompany and overtake Edward, so Thanatoz is surprised.
In his mind the man was indeed well trained.
Things went fast, Edward quickly pulled Thanatoz's right foot, causing it to splash out and strike his head on the boulder. Edward wasted no time and approached Cecelia right away. His eyes widened with delight as he watched the baby's head slowly emerge until it finally come out. Edward couldn't explain how he felt at these times, the joy mixed with tears preceding the dripping, Cecelia sighed and slowly looked up at her husband. Cecelia and Edward exchanged glances and smiles. Edward was about to approach the child to lift it, but both Cecelia and Edward were surprised to see Thanatoz's hand sink into Edward's heart without hesitation.
“just like I told, Edward—your life will end tonight.”
Edward stared and felt the pain; he sadly looked at his wife and his child, a smile on his face and fear in his eyes. Cecelia shuddered, unsure what to do, and felt her heart break as Edward fell to the ground.
“Edward...” She murmured faintly as it collapsed lifeless. She looked into his conscious eyes, as if her heart was being squeeze by what had happened to her husband, and she looked up at Thanatoz, who was now frighteningly smiling as he looked at Edward's body, and it immediately took the child. Even if Cecelia wanted to, she couldn't because she was weak at the time.
“Please give me back my daughter!” despite her weakness, she was able to cry and try to reach the baby, but it was extremely difficult for her.
She was sobbing and worried about her daughter. Her eyes widened as Thanatoz strangled her with her right hand while the innocent baby in his left arm.
Thanatoz retuned his gaze to Edward as its body faded away.
“You are still the loser between the two of us.” Thanatoz looked at the end when he saw that the werewolves were coming towards them, so he disgustedly threw Cecelia in Edward's place, it was fading and Cecelia gently hugged Edward while crying.
Thanatoz turned around, but then turned around again and looked at the two; if he weren't the King and just an ordinary person, he could feel pity for what happened to the two, but now he only feels one, and that is nothing but victory.
After witnessing Edward's disappearance, he teleported in front of them, but before that, the baby's eyes were awake while looking at her lifeless parents, miraculously, but a bead of tears dripped from the baby's eyes.
Artheo, on the other hand, felt heavy as he watched what happened; he took a deep breath then exhaled it. He knew it would happen, but he did nothing to prevent it, and as a result, two good vampires disappeared and an infant lost its parents.
The old guide smiled bitterly and looked up at the sky that was slowly approaching the morning and the bleeding moon and the bleeding sky were both gone.
“These events are part of the path that the destined vampire will take; it is up to her to decide whether she will take the evil or good path.” The old man turned and walked away. He will simply let time take its course.
After the tragedy, Thanatoz took and cared for the baby not to be loved but to be used against werewolve; he trained it in fighting and taught it how to be steadfast and strong at all times. The King taught the destined vampire many things, things she should not do just like evil but no matter how many evil vampires surround the child, it has the goodness of the heart like its parents.
While in the werewolves side, Aiden's status became good when he was appointed the new Alpha of the werewolves, and his name became well-known as a result, but there was a misunderstanding between Aiden and Allayna. Because their relationship did not work out, Allayna preferred to live in the city while Aiden was in the province of Twilight performing his duties. Because Aiden was busy with his duties, the couple decided that their son would also live in the city for Allayna to watch over, but when he turns 15, he goes to the province to be taught what to do as the next Alpha.
The two's lives have been going well for the past twenty years, but an event will change their lives, an event they did not expect.
