She woke up that morning at the sound of her girlfriend's alarm clock. "s**t Bree, turn it off." Stacie groaned rolling to the side. The blonde tiredly rolled out of bed and turned the demoniac alarm off. "Morning babe." Aubrey said in a raspy voice, giving Stacie a kiss on the forehead. "It's 6 am why do you have to wake up so early if juridical sociology starts in two hours?" Stacie groaned. Aubrey sent a look at Stacie that she immediately understood. "Ugh." The girl said smashing her head against the pillow. The blonde couldn't hold the giggles she's been trying to suppress. Her phone suddenly light up and she picked it up only to notice Beca was calling her. "Hey Aubs." She heard the brunette said after a long yawn from the other line. Aubrey took a second glance at the clock. "What the f**k Beca, is 4 am in L.A." "What?" Beca put her phone away for a second to take a look at the time. "f**k. It's six in the morning there? s**t did I wake you up?" "No you didn't, we were just waking up." Aubrey said. "Damn you Posen. Why would you be so cruel? I thought you meant it when you said you loved me." Beca heard her best friend's voice in the back. "Is everything okay over there?" She asked worried. "I told her we are going to for a run whether she wanted to or not." Aubrey explained to Beca laughing. "So what were you calling for?" Beca looked around her. There were thousands of coffee mugs and pieces of music sheets everywhere. "No reason in particular." She lied. Once they hung up Beca sat down again on her studio's black reclinable chair looking at the ceiling for inspiration. "I should have gone home." She said out loud to no one in particular at the realization that she didn't do any progress and that she'd rather be waking up next to Chloe. Chloe, s**t. Beca quickly took her phone out again and typed an apology text to her girlfriend for not telling her sooner she was stuck in the studio. It was the middle of the day when Stacie was sitting at her Basic Electrical Engineering lecture massaging her tight as she finished taking notes when she felt her phone buzz from underneath her book, she wasn't used to feel her phone buzzing since she was the kind of human who turns the buzzing off during classes but that day it buzzed. The girl grabbed the phone to put it on silence when she read the message on screen. It was from Caren, Beca's mom. Mother 2: Stace! how's your Blondie? sorry for bugging you but do you think you can stop by as soon as you can? Stacie furrowed her eyebrows but typed a quick 'of course' before putting down her phone. "How long have you been up?" Back in Los Angeles, Jesse came back with lunch for the both of them in hand. "I never left." Beca said rubbing her eyes. "If doctors can pull this off so can I." Jesse rolled her eyes at her friend and handed the food to her who gladly took it and devour it in minutes. Meanwhile, at the medical healthcare center Emily and Chloe had taken the afternoon shift since they had their classes early in the morning. The girls were stocking blanket warmers and nutrition supplies on nursing units when Emily noticed certain red head was having trouble to stand still. "You drank coffee thirty minutes ago, what's up with you?" She asked gently hitting the red head's face with a blanket warmer. Chloe squinted her eyes before opening them up. "I waited for Beca to come home." The girl replied grabbing the last two supplies. "but she never came." The younger girl looked apologetically at her friend as they walked through the nursing units handing them the blanket warmers. "And she didn't give you a heads up?" Emily asked. Chloe shook her head no. "No text?" Chloe shook her head again. Emily nodded in understanding. "No calls, no nothing?" "Jesus Emily, no." Chloe snapped. Emily's eyes widened at the red head's harsh response. "Oh my god, sorry." Emily offered the girl a small smile. "It's okay Chlo, you didn't sleep and now here you are helping after a long day full of classes and books and, I get it." The red head smiled at her friend before going to the last nursing unit. She didn't sleep at night because she was worried, Beca hadn't text her during the whole day yesterday and at night didn't text her either. She knew she probably just forgot to give her a heads up but how could she know where her girlfriend was? or if she was okay? A few hours later the red head and the younger girl were picking up their stuff to leave the healthcare center. Just then, Chloe unlocked her phone and found a text from earlier sent by Beca. Becs: Stuck in the studio :( Becs: I'm so sorry for not texting, I didn't realize how late it was until now. Have a good day and take care weirdo. I love you. "Well she did text after all." Chloe said walking down the street, showing the screen at her friend. "4 am? I don't know who's worse, Beca for texting you so early in the morning or you for not looking at your phone for hours." Emily laughed. They came home to an empty dark place and a note on the fridge. Emily and Chloe shared a worried look and walked over the fridge to read the paper. Emily was the one who read it first making Chloe's nerves go crazy. The red head walked to her room to leave her stuff without even bothering to turn on the lights. "Oh, it simply says that Ally left to visit Sam in San Fran." Emily said putting the note back in place. Chloe let out a breath she didn't know she was holding and let herself fall into the bed hitting something hard in her way down. "Jesus." She heard her girlfriend say. The red head immediately turned on one of the night stand lights and saw her girlfriend's lip bleed. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry baby." Beca smirked at girlfriend holding her lip between her fingers. "They say love hurts, huh." Chloe playfully tried to push Beca to the side making her giggle but the brunette caught one of the red head's arms and pushed her down on the bed. Sitting on top of her with her legs on Chloe's sides and one of her hands holding both of her girlfriend's Beca began tickling Chloe's sides making her laugh frantically. Emily immediately rushed to the room in confusion. She saw the adorable scene in front of her and snapped a picture of them before sent it to the Bella group chat. "You are home." Emily said grabbing both women attention. "Your lip is bleeding." She pointed out worriedly. Beca rolled her eyes with a smirk. "Chloe hurt me." She said in a baby voice. "I did not." The red head defended herself from underneath her. "It was an accident." Emily laughed looking at her dorky friends. "Sushi for dinner is okay?" Beca asked still sitting over Chloe. Both girls nodded so the brunette scouted to kiss the red head's mouth before disappearing behind the door only to come back a few minutes later with plastic boxes full of sushi on her hands. The three of them sat down on the living room, Beca and Chloe snuggled on the couch while Emily sat next to them admiring the couple. "I feel so lonely." She said putting another piece in her mouth. The girls looked at Emily in awe. "What did you do for your anniversary?" Emily asked with a sigh. The couple looked at each other with wide eyes. Their anniversary was last week and none of them remembered. The single girl looked at them with a serious face. "Are you kidding me? you forgot about your first anniversary?"
