Where were we at?
Why is the sun so strong? It's too hot. My hand aches. My neck is killing me. It's been three hours. My feet hurt, these sneakers are uncomfortable. My eyes burn. Inserting the needle one last time downwards through the sub-dermal layer she zigzagged her way to the top of the opening making sure to close it with a decent strong knot. "Done." She said out loud. All the heads in around her in the practice lab shot up in amusement. The doctor in charge to teach them made her way to Chloe's station and took a look to the stitched grape. "Wonderful job, Beale." The tall dark skinned woman said patting her gently on the back. Chloe sighed in relief and finally sat down on her chair. It's been almost a year since Chloe's decided to study medicine and help at local healthcare center on L.A. in order to gain medical experience and be close to Beca, and honestly, she was doing pretty good. She saw Emily shoot a 'help me' look at the red head before going back to stitching. Emily had also joined Chloe at college and helping on the healthcare center moving to L.A. as well. Shortly after she graduated, Beca offered the young girl to move in with Ally, Chloe and her because well, Emily is young and naive and Beca couldn't afford to leave a toddler live on its own even though she herself was pretty much a toddler. Once they were done at the practice lab, the girls began to walk through the hall to leave the building. "I feel like my fingers are going to fall off." Emily whined showing her fingers to Chloe. Chloe laughed. "I tote need a neck massage after stitching for hours." All of a sudden everything stopped, Chloe stopped walking after she caught the sight of a small brunette standing a few feet away from her smiling with a bouquet on hand. Chloe ran towards Beca, who opened her arms waiting for her girlfriend's body to smash against hers. The red head jumped into Beca's arms hugging her tightly as Beca laughed. "Hello stranger." Beca said, her lips immediately connecting with Chloe's. "This is sad, I'm sad. I should leave." Emily, who was awkwardly standing there, said grabbing the attention of both women. Beca put Chloe down, Emily rushing to hug her as soon as she did so. "Don't ever leave again, Chloe gets all Aubrey around the house when you are not home." Chloe scoffed playfully slapping Emily making Beca laugh. "I wasn't gone for that long." Beca replied rolling her eyes. "Is that a bouquet of chocolate roses?" Emily laughed looking at Beca's hand. The shorter girl's face turned a light red. "Well yeah, flowers are for funerals." Chloe and Emily looked at Beca. "I mean they can also be for weddings and other uh events?" "yeah... nice save Beca." Emily sarcastically said. "she got that from you." The red head whispered to her girlfriend. Beca rolled her eyes before offering the possibly melting chocolate bouquet to Chloe. Snuggling against her girlfriend, Chloe felt Beca's lips kiss her forehead as the three of them made their way towards Beca's car so they could go home together (and save taxi money). "Has anyone bought shampoo? We ran out of that stuff." Ally said from her room as soon as she heard the front door. Emily face palmed herself before opening the door once again and running to the store. "I brought something even better." Chloe yelled back as her girlfriend and her walked to Ally's room. Ally sighed. "A dog?" She asked, her eyes focused on her laptop screen. "Not that better, Hills." Beca said. Ally then looked up from the screen and rushed to hug the girl.  "How was it?" Ally asked sitting down on the edge of her bed. Chloe left the room leaving them alone. Beca sat down next to her and started to tell her about the days she was gone filling her in with every detail about this work deal. "So basically, I got a record label that wants me." She said. "...and an agent that keeps emailing me gigs and performances that I should accept." She said taking out her buzzing phone. Beca saw the laptop laying over tons of sheets of papers then noticed Ally's big eye bags. "How's the writing thing going?" She asked. Ally raised her sight now meeting Beca's eyes. "Don't ask." She snapped. The smaller brunette raised her arms in surrender before leaving the room after wishing good-luck to her friend. She saw Chloe standing against the kitchen counter with her back to her. She had a book between her arms and a close to be boiling pot besides her. Sliding her arms around the red head's waist she placed a soft kiss on her neck. She felt Chloe relax between her arms. "Biochemistry?" Beca asked looking at the book. Chloe nodded, her eyes focused on the book. "You look tired, let me finish with that." Beca said pointing at the pot. Her girlfriend turned around and looked at her thankfully, she gave her a quick kiss before heading to their shared bedroom. Beca smiled at the sight of that girl disappearing behind their bedroom door. Suddenly, she felt her phone buzz in her back pocket. She saw her best friend's name on the screen. Stace: I'm home, I miss your stupid face. Skype? Beca smiled at the text, lowering the fire from the control panel on the oven she took her laptop out of the suitcase that was still standing in front of the door before logging into Skype. Within seconds Stacie's face appeared on her screen. "Hi." Beca exclaimed excited. Stacie smiled at her friend. "Music producer Beca Mitchell, hello to you too." Beca's face couldn't hide the smile that grew every time she heard the words music producer being directed at her. "How's college?" Beca asked. Stacie opened her mouth to reply but someone did it for her. "Can you believe she's majoring in engineering?" A blonde said pecking Stacie's right cheek. "What?" Beca asked looking at Stacie in shock making the other girl giggle. "Hey Bree." Aubrey sat down on the bed next to Stacie and waved a hand to Beca. Just then Beca's front door opened revealing a breathless Emily with a shampoo bottle on her hand. "I bought the damn shampoo now I won't get killed... today." The younger girl said between breathes. "Oh my stars, hi girls!" she squealed making Beca put a hand over her left ear. They got into a conversation that Beca ignored after remembering the pot that was now boiling. "College is hard." Emily said to the girls. "but Chloe is pretty much what's making me survive." "Where's my red head?" Aubrey asked. Emily raised a finger telling Aubrey to wait a second before she yelled Chloe's names at the top of her lungs. Chloe came into the living room running. "Who's hurt?" The younger girl pointed at the laptop screen making Chloe sigh in relief now that she knew that everybody's body parts were still in place. "Hi girls, I miss you both so much." Chloe told them in a sad tone. Beca turned off the gas and poured the noodles onto the metal strainer before joining the girls. "Add the other girls." Beca said standing next to Chloe who was behind Emily who was the only down sitting. In a matter of seconds, Jessica and Ashley's face popped into the screen, Lilly for some odd reason was upside down, Flo also joined the video call and CR couldn't answer since she was on the army. "We are missing Amy, where's she anyways?" Chloe asked at Stacie and Aubrey. "Across the hall, someone text her to head to mine and Aubrey's dorm." Stacie said. Not a minute had passed when Amy came into the dorm slamming the door against the wall. "What's up aca bitches?" All of them laughed at the blonde aussie. They engaged in a conversation catching up on the past weeks since they called each other whenever they were free. Jessica and Ashley were staying in New York studying drama, Flo moved to Florida while Lilly was currently visiting her family back in Japan while Amy, Aubrey and Stacie stayed in Atlanta. The group they used to be, the Bellas, were dispersed in different parts of the world, yet they felt like they were all together like how they were back in high school. "Is dinner ready or?" Ally asked suddenly stepping into the living room. A/N well, here goes the beginning of the sequel please let me hear your thoughts and suggestions. Hope you liked the first chapter!
