Who, What, Where and Why?
She woke up with the mother of all headaches, she had to feel her head to know nothing was weighing her down. Nothing made sense except the obvious, she was all alone in a hospital room. Who was she? Maybe her family could tell her when they come back from the bathroom. Just as she was optimistic about that thought, the door opened and much to her disappointment it was the nurse. Although the nurse smiled at her, she felt like the nurse knew her even though she didn't, but then again she didn't even remember her own name. Her mind felt like a blank page and  the more she tried to remember the worse her headache got. "Hey, welcome back to the land of the living, I was just here to check your vitals, but now I have to tell Dr Russell that you're up," she said so happy, confusing her even more as she pulled out her cellphone and called someone, "...you're not going to believe it, but Sleeping Beauty is awake." That couldn't be her name could it? Isn't that a children's book?                                                                                          "Who am I? And how did I get here?" she asked the super excited nurse after she hung up.                                "See we were hoping you would tell us, Dr Russell found you passed out in Central Park and he runs the not so usual track," the nurse said now looking at her worriedly, "...where are my manners, my name is Samantha. I'm your nurse."           Nothing made sense, she doesn't know why this information didn't make sense. She could not have been found in Central Park, New York. She didn't know why that was, but she couldn't be living in New York, could she? A very attractive man, with a presence that could intimidate anyone walked in. With his intense eyes he looked at her like he knew her, like he loved her even and quickly his face went cold and professional. "Good to see you're awake, I'm Dr Russell, are you in any pain?" he said looking her over.                                               "I have a headache, but it could be from me wondering who am I? What happened? Where am I? And Why am I here?"                                                                                                                                                                            "I'm sorry, but I can only answer two of those questions, the where and why. You're at New York general hospital, I found you passed out when I was jogging six months ago. You don't remember anything at all?" he asked checking her vitals as he spoke.                                                                                                                     "Nothing, just that I don't think I stayed in New York, it's not my favorite city," she said and both Dr Russell and Samantha looked at each other.                                                                                                                               "Not to worry I'll order an MRI for you and then move on from there, Sam could..." and good looking guy walked in, seemingly rubbing the other off the wrong way, this guy was friendlier, he had a mischievous face.                                                                                                                                                                                          "When I heard she was up I had to see it for myself," he said coming closer than the previous two, "...I'm also Dr Russell, my brother here has been looking forward to this day for way too long."                                     "Jason do you not have anything to do, it is a giant hospital and I'm pretty sure we could not see each other for more that three days," The older looking one said standing at the foot of the bed.                                           "Oh come now Alexander, she doesn't mind my presence, do you?" the younger one was enjoying annoying his older brother, even though you could never guess them to be related. While the older one had dark hair, so black it looked blue and the other was a blonde, but that was not what made them look nothing like each other. It was the fact that the older one looked to have Native American descendance and the other was full on white. After more of their entertaining banter, they left her alone again. She felt all alone in a world she knew nothing about and she was scared. She was scared no one was coming for her and the doctors and the very friendly nurse said nothing about her visitors. The nurse came back to get her for her MRI, "No one has come to claim me or even reported me missing?" Sleeping Beauty asked trying her best to not look weak.      "No, even though you wore  a wedding ring. We suspect whatever happened to you killed your husband also, because the alternative is far scarier," Samantha said taking her hand and giving it a light squeeze. She went for the MRI and no one told her anything, they just told she was on the road to recovery and she didn't feel like it, even though the medication she was given seemed to have gotten rid of her headache, the ache now was deep down in a place no medication could reach. The pain of being all alone in the world, she couldn't live in the hospital forever and she doesn't know who the hell she is and that meant she had no money and no job.
