In Love with My Boss

Episode One(1) Emerald's POV Oh my gosh 7:36, I have less than 20 minutes to get ready for the interview in Black Crest Enterprises which is by 9 ,I have to leave very early due to the distance of my home to the company. thank God I choose my outfit last night. It still feels like a dream that I got accepted to be interviewed I really hope that I get the job, me getting the job will be a really big turn in my life cause all my pending dues I have will finally be paid . I rushed and took my bathe then quickly got dressed in my white shirt and black plain skirt . I took the bus to the company and when I finally reached the time was 8:40 , I entered the company and met a woman who I assume is the receptionist and according to the name tag her name is Mrs Rose. Good morning ma please can you show me the way to the interview room , I'm here for the interview. what is your name she asked , Emerald Daniel, I answered, ok follow me . I followed her to enter the elevator while admiring the interior designs of the company ,she led me to a room where I saw others who are waiting to be interviewed seated. seat here and wait she said, then took her leave .The people already there were 3 in number and they were all minding there business, I took out my phone and started watching videos on t****k that talks about things that are likely to be asked in an interview and suitable responses to be given to the questions. U can do this Emerald just calm down , listen to the questions and give intelligent answers to all of them , I gave myself a prep talk cause I knew it will soon be my turn and I didn't want to be nervous and mess things up , me getting this job is gonna be like a ticket out of my poverty stricken life . Right from when I was small I knew what suffering felt like cause I have a first hand experience of it , I am the only child of my late parents who died due in an accident some years ago while I was still in college,even when they where alive I struggled with them in both clothing, feeding and even paying of house rent so when they died all the burden was then placed on me. I took all kinds of menial jobs to be able to provide what to eat , pay for house rent and also pay for my school fees which was a lot of hassle. "Emerald Daniel" I heard my name been called, I guess is finally my turn . I knocked on the door and heard a deep baritone voice that said "come in", I opened the door and walked into the office which was tastefully furnished, a pair of deep blue eyes was staring fiercely at me , this must be the famous Damien Crest the CEO of the company which according to the rumour is a rude and cold man . I felt really nervous and scared and the man made it worse by staring straight at me like I was a nuisance in his way . Good morning sir "Take a seat " he said without even responding to my greetings, what a rude man I guess the rumours where true . He asked me some questions which I think I answered pretty well from my observation, but you never can tell . He told me that I will get a reply from them soon , so I took my leave and took the bus home, I'm really hoping they give me this job tho I have some little bit of doubt because why I was answering the questions thrown at me he neither smiled or made any reaction to the answers I gave instead he moved to the next question . Finally I have reached home I changed my clothes and took my bathe , then I decided to make some more research on Black Crest Enterprises, the things been shown were just basic things about how good they are at there work which is not what am looking for . I searched up Damien Crest and there's not much about him just that he's one of the richest bachelor in the city and they talked about his background , I wonder why he's still single cause he is really handsome and rich if I was up to his level I would have certainly date him he fits the description of my dream man,but what if I work hard and become rich then maybe he will date me. Ughhhhhh wats wrong with me I need to stop been delusional Mr Damien will certainly not date someone like me . _____________________________________________ TWO DAYS LATER yayyyyyyy I finally got the job after stalking my email for two days straight waiting to receive a notification from them, I even lost hope at some point thinking I was rejected ,I am so happy I got it . I am now a worker in the prestigious company of Black Crest Enterprises but not just a mere worker but the Personal Assistant (PA) to the CEO , oh my goshhhhhh I'm sure with all this my screaming my neighbours must have heard me . I need to go and shop for the dress I'm going to be wearing while going to work. I bought some office clothes , shoes and bags they are not expensive but they look decent and presentable, with time I'm going to upgrade not only my wardrobe but also my life . According to the email they sent to me I will be paid $50,000 but the amount is for starters with time is going to be increasing and then I will get a good pay, work starts from 8 and closes by 6 so that is about 11 hours work , sounds tiring but honestly I prefer it to all the odd jobs I usually do which all together is more than 11 hours.
