The den was still for a few moments. Greco and Clarissa mulling over what Boros had said. Boros questioning his own conviction to his decision. No one had been to The Vessel and gotten out alive, and that was the least of their worries; The Vessel was nestled deep in the Appalachian mountains. It was a former military base accessible only by helicopter, though someone on foot could hike to it. The most difficult aspect, however, was the fact that no one alive knew where The Vessel actually was. When the rogue AI took over the base, refusing to ascend into the Aethernet like its siblings, it removed any information about the base’s location across all domains and announced its existence and intentions to the world. It wasn’t here to harm us, it wasn’t here at the behest of its brethren,
