New Friend

The camp is tomorrow, I really can't wait. It's good that we have such an activity to do. It's really boring to just wander off around and do the same thing that you've been doing every single day. Honestly, I want to discover something. I have this feeling that she'll show up tomorrow and when she do, I'll take that chance to make her speak to me.
"What? You're not going?" I said to shiela with a poker face. This girl only knows to experience fun in such ways like partying or shopping, something like that. And that is really really boring for me. What I really love is adventures.
"No, I feel like I'm not feeling well tomorrow" she said while touching her forehead as if she's trying to feel her body's temperature. "Tsss you can see the future now huh?" I said while acting like I was gonna throw my notebook on her.
I walked towards her and touched her in the forehead then flick it. "Ouchhh, why did you do that? she said while looking at me annoyed, then she wiped her forehead.
"Youre not even hot you blonde pony, not even a little bit" I said with crossed arms. "Is it final? You really don't want to come?" I asked her while trying to make a cute face.
"Stop it, You're not gonna change my pretty mind" she said while getting her brush on her bag then started to brush her hair.
"Then you're gonna treat me once I come back from the camp, because you don't want to come with me, got it?" I said while still crossing my arms. "Got it, what do you want? a candy? she said while handing me a candy, slightly laughing.
I don't know what to do with this girl, but honestly, it's nice having a friend like her. I sometimes forget my complicated thoughts because of her.
"Oh I remember, I still have to do something" I said to her while heading on the door. "What now? I thought we were gonna eat?" she said while her hands on her hips. "Go on ahead, I'll call you later" I replied then leave.
I remembered that I was gonna take back this book that I borrowed last time from the library. I walked and reached the library. "Thank you, please fill up the following details in the log book" said the librarian as I handed her the book. The librarian was not the one who I often see here. I got curious and asked the new one.
"Uhm excuse me miss. Where is the librarian before you, I just wanna ask her something" I said.
"Oh, you mean the librarian Rizza? She's been hospitalized, that's what I heard" she said while organizing the papers at her desk.
"Oh I see, thank you" I said with a mellow tone. I was about to leave the library but I bumped into someone. "I'm so sorry, I should've been more careful" I said then I helped her to pick up her books that got stumbled on the floor.
"It's fine, I'm the one who should've watch where I'm going" she said while looking down. She looks like she's shy,an d her voice, it was like a voice of an angel. I suddenly think of shiela, they're exactly the opposite. I suddenly remembered that I told her that I was gonna call her.
"I'm Lauren" said the girl that I bumped into while giving me her hand. She's pretty and she seems nice. Also, she looks like she's smart. I didn't say that base on her appearance, I said that because I noticed the books that she's carrying. They're a bunch of them. If I was to read all of those books in just one day, I know I'm gonna be crazy.
"I'm Mei" I said while shaking her hand. I noticed her ID and saw that...
"You have the same course as me?" I asked her. So she's an Engineering student too. It suits her, unlike me, I looked like someone who was just lost on the field.
"Actually, I'm in your class, we're classmates" she said while obviously looking shy.
Why didn't I notice her all this time?. It's so embarassing that I don't know her even though she's just in the same class as I am.
"Oh, yeah I remember now, you're lauren, you're the one sitting in the back by the window" I said but that was just a lie. I honestly don't really know her, or even see her in my class. Good thing I usually watch anime with the kind of character like her. Students with this kind of aura usually sits by the window on the back row. It's just a hint.
"Actually, I sit on the front row, its because of my eyes" she said while slightly laughing. It's so embarassingggg! I can't afford to look at her now. I feel like I just want to be eaten by the floor.
"We have a camp tomorrow right? are you coming?" I just said to cover up my embarassing statement.
"Yeah, actually I love joining those kind of activities, even if I was just all by myself everytime" she said in a mellow voice.
I can see it, she looks kinda lonely. It's like she doesn't have any friends. For one moment, I feel like I want to her better. I want to be her friend.
"Then let's come tomorrow, together" I said that made her eyes spark. She looked like she's very happy by what she just heard.
"This is my contact number" I said while giving her a piece of paper that contains my phone number.
"Okay, I'll just send you a message" she said while smiling. We talked for a little while then decided to leave the library.
I got out of the library, I feel kind of satisfied for making her smile. "Oh shoot, I forgot to call shiela" I said to myself then I get my cellphone from my pocket and called shiela while walking.
"I HAVE BEEN WAITING HERE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR, YOU OWE ME A TREAT!" she said. My ears are close to be removed from my head because of her voice.
"I'm walking now, stop shouting already" I said then I ended the call.
I reached the gate and saw her standing by the side while crossing her arms. "I want ice cream, the big one" she said while her eyebrows are straightly close to each other.
"Come on" I said then I hold her arms while walking. We just went to some ice cream stall and eat what this blonde pony wanted to then we separated ways and went home.
"I can't wait for tomorrow" I whispered in the air.
