*Bells ringing

I love this sound. This was the sound of the bell that I only find mesmerizing to hear. I know that it's not only me, we all do, because it must only mean that classes are to be dismissed. "Goodbye and see you tomorrow" said the teacher. I've packed all my things, started walking, and got out of the campus.

I am currently walking with my friends outside the school.

"You sure you're not going with us Mei? Shiela said while blinking her eyes to look cute.

"No, maybe next time, and don't do that thing, it's not cute" I said while slightly laughing.

"Bye guys, see you tomorrow" I added as I signaled a cab. It stopped then as I open the door...

"It's you again young lady" said the cab driver.

What a coincidence, it's the same weird cab from morning.

I didn't mind him, I got in the car and started facing my cellphone, it's 5:13 pm. Out of nowhere he said...

"You have a nice mask young lady"

I was shocked upon hearing those words, he also said that earlier in the morning.

"Yeah thanks, you already said that" I said with a sarcastic voice.

"Did I?" he asked with a mellow tone.

I just gave him a question face and looked at my cellphone agin.

It's 5:24 pm.

"So where did you get that mask?" he said out of nothing.

I didn't respond to him. This driver keeps on asking questions about the mask, it's getting annoying so I decided to take it off then I looked at my cellphone again but--

What!? It's still 5:13 pm. But I thought it's already 5:24, I thought 11 minutes had passed already.

What is happenin-

"You have a nice mask young lady" the driver said.

I looked at him at his mirror in the front and saw him looking at me. He was..

SMILING.

But that's not it, I was so shocked when I see myself at the mirror.

I am Still wearing the mask.

"So I never took it off?? How did that happened!?" I whispered .

"We're here" said the driver.

I looked at the window then I saw my house. "Already?" I said in my mind.

I got out of the car and started walking, I don't want to turn my eyes back but it feels like someone is staring at me from inside that car, from the back seat, where I seated.

I suddenly stopped walking.

How did the driver know where my house is? I didn't even had a chance to say where I live.

I turned my eyes back but the car was already gone.

I entered the house and started searching for my mom. I found her in the kitchen. "Hi mom" I said with a bored tone as I walk towards her then kissed her in the cheeks.

"You're here already, how's your day?" she asked.

"It's fine, people keep on asking me how I've been" I said.

"Like they care for me that much" I added with sarcasm.

"Maybe they're just worried about you" mom said. "Well they don't have to" I just said then left her in the kitchen.

I went to my room and lay on my bed. A little later, I already fell asleep.

(In the morning..)

I woke up before my alarm clock gets to shout, that's unusual.

It's still early but I already feel uncomfortable and... What!?

Why am I wearing this mask! So that's why I feel uncomfortable.

Did I wear it all night and while sleeping?? Maybe I just forgot to take it off last night.

"But is that possible to forget taking it off?" I said on my mind while slightly slapping my face.

I got up the bed, went downstairs and found my mom in the kitchen, cooking.

"Hey sweetie good morning, I'm cooking your favorite" she said while actively cooking.

I looked at what she's cooking. It's a dish I've never seen before. How is that gonna be my favorite?

And besides, she rarely cook for me. What was she thinking?

I didn't say anything, I just said that I'm still full and I'll eat it once I come back home later. I'm still sleepy. I yawned then I sing...

"Today I don't feel like doing anything"

I prepared myself, wear my mask, and went off to school.

Still early but everything just feels so weird now, or should I say STRANGE.

( 2 hours later... )

I'm currently walking with my friend and we're on our way to the library.

I don't know why but I can't understand what my friend is talking about.

She keeps on talking but nothing gets to sink in on my mind. I guess I really am still sleepy.

*Beeeeeeeeeppp

I'm startled! "What's wrong mei?" Shiela said.

"I just heard a loud horn" I said while looking around.

"Pshh horn? What horn? maybe it's just a fart" she said while hardly laughing.

"Didn't you heard it? It's like a horn of a train" I added while still looking around.

"Train?? We're in school duh, are you some sort of a superhero or something? The train is way too far from here , maybe you're just tired" she said while giving me a confused look in the face.

"Maybe" I replied.

"Or maybe it really is just a fart, I apologize for not excusing myself but yeah, I farted" she said while still laughing.

"That's nasty you blonde pony" I said while pinching my nose.

But I really just heard something, something loud, I can't be mistaken.

It's a TRAIN.
