Chapter 1:Transmigrating Into A Zombie World, Awakening The Endgame Armory System
Luo Kun, a special forces soldier in the SWAT team, lost his life during a mission to capture a home-invading murderer. His overly aggressive approach—charging in without fully investigating the situation—proved fatal.
Just when he thought his life was over, he suddenly found himself in an office building. Everyone around him was crouching under desks cluttered with computers, their faces etched with fear.
The unfamiliar office environment confirmed it: he had transmigrated to another world.
As this realization sank in, the memories of the original owner of this body flooded his mind.
He was now an ordinary game designer working at a gaming company.
Ten minutes ago, NPCs from their latest game—a zombie-themed project—had somehow broken into reality and were now attacking the company!
Luo Kun immediately looked down from the third floor.
Below, more than a dozen creatures with charred black skin, bulging veins, and bloodshot eyes were clawing at the alloy security gate.
These grotesque beings, neither human nor ghost, had nails several centimeters long, as if they had crawled out of hell itself.
They howled madly, their razor-sharp nails slowly cutting through the gate.
As Luo Kun observed these terrifying creatures, fragmented memories began to surface.
These were the zombies he had designed in the game! How had they escaped into the real world?
It seemed the zombies had truly been unleashed from the game into reality.
What was even more terrifying was that these frenzied zombies were using their razor-sharp nails to slowly cut through the security gate downstairs.
At this rate, it wouldn’t be long before they broke in!
"Luo Kun, what are you doing? Get under the desk! If those things downstairs don’t see you, maybe they’ll spare your life!"
Just as Luo Kun was trying to make sense of his surroundings, a slender, pale arm reached out from under the desk to his right.
The arm frantically grabbed his hand and pulled him under the adjacent desk.
Suddenly, a unique fragrance, characteristic of a young woman, wafted over.
The person who had pulled Luo Kun down was a cute woman wearing black stockings, with a curvaceous and sexy figure.
Luo Kun remembered her—her name was **Xia Xiaoman**. They had joined the gaming company together and even gone on a movie date. It seemed they were now in a romantic relationship.
After pulling Luo Kun under the desk, Xia Xiaoman clung to him tightly, clearly feeling unsafe.
Being held so closely by her, Luo Kun felt a sense of unreality.
*How did I end up with such luck in this life?* he wondered.
But with the office building surrounded by zombies, he had no time to dwell on it.
As a former special forces soldier, Luo Kun knew how to suppress fear and stay calm in dangerous situations.
He quickly began searching the office for weapons.
After rummaging through cabinets and drawers, he only found a 50-centimeter-long multi-functional tool hammer in the fire extinguisher cabinet.
"Where are the guns? Not even a single usable pistol?" Luo Kun grew increasingly frustrated.
He knew the tool hammer wouldn’t be enough to fend off the dozen or so zombies downstairs.
Just then, a cold, emotionless electronic voice echoed in his ears.
**[Host binding in progress…]**

A bright white light flashed beside Luo Kun, and a retro-style pistol along with 150 rounds of ammunition materialized on the desk. "A system? Armory?" Luo Kun was momentarily bewildered. Then it hit him—this system was part of the game’s design. Somehow, it had crossed into reality along with the zombies and bound itself to him.
The banging on the security gate grew louder and more frantic. With no time to waste, Luo Kun picked up the Type 92 pistol, loaded it with practiced ease, and chambered a round—all in under eight seconds. This was the basic skill of a special forces soldier. Though the Type 92 wasn’t the most advanced weapon, Luo Kun was confident he could wield it to its fullest potential.
After arming himself, Luo Kun returned to Xia Xiaoman’s desk. She was still trembling under the desk, her fear palpable. "Xiaoman, you don’t have to stay under there. The office is safe for now," Luo Kun said, crouching down to show her the pistol.
"Kun, how do you have…?" Xia Xiaoman trailed off, stunned. Firearms were extremely rare and expensive in this world, reserved only for elite special forces. And even they had to return their weapons after missions—private ownership was strictly prohibited.
Through the memories of the body’s original owner, Luo Kun understood the state of this world’s military development. It was far behind his own. The seemingly outdated Type 92 pistol in his hand was, in fact, a top-tier weapon here—something only a true special forces soldier would wield. No wonder Xia Xiaoman was so shocked. She had never imagined that the seemingly mild-mannered Luo Kun could be so… *manly*.
