It’s the third day of rehearsals when Tamara announces that she wants to focus on the kissing scene—not the actual kiss, but what comes before and after.
She takes Ida and me to one side to go over the scene with us.
“Mindy appears like she doesn’t have a clue, even though she has picked up on certain things Veronica has said. She’s not stupid,” Tamara says. “For the record, Faye, I don’t think you’re stupid either.” She inserts a chuckle. “I know you know this, but I just want to make sure we’re on the same page.”
