Chapter Ten When she woke up this morning, the last thing Brenda had planned to do was get married. It was not on her chore list. But here she was with a printed prenup in one hand and a marriage license application in the other. And it all felt like the most normal thing in the world. Telling Keaton about her financial strife, planning the near future with him, making lists, it all felt natural. He would make a great ranch hand. Under different circumstances, they might even probably be friends. Since they would be married soon, she supposed maybe they probably should be friends. But that would have to wait until later. Right now, they needed to fill out this application and get in line at City Hall. Not that there would be a line in this small town. Weddings were family affairs here.
