THE RE-AWAKENING OF THE FORGOTTEN

It's 4pm and the school bell rang at St. Trinity high school. Closing time already, the bell signaled and all students with excitement dashed out with their bags, on their way to board the school bus. Lisa wasn't left behind, She walked straight to the direction of the school bus, filled with joy and excitement as her article is finally nominated under the category of best article of the year in the upcoming International Talent Unleash. “Finally, after three years of failing, I finally made it to the list”, she whispered within, as she continues her walk. A dream come true to her, already expectant of the glowing happiness that will spring out from her dad. “Hey Lisa”, Kendra, her course mate called aloud from a long distance, she looked back and immediately continued her journey to the bus. He hurriedly ran straight to her, dragged her hand and hold on it firmly. “Let go off me”, Lisa shouted at him, glaring at her classmate. “Can't you see, I need to get to the bus and secure a space for myself”, she further explained. “Do I look as if I give a damn about where you're heading to”, Kendra retorted. “Do you know you actually suck today, You damn look awkward and smell like the jelly fish”. He said and gave out bullying laughter. “Your article flops, it has no basis for being the best, I sense dirty s**t running through the minds of the judges for nominating you to represent us”. He then yelled aloud to his gang members, “Hey dudes, come over here” and they immediately came around and all laughed and bullied Lisa emotionally. Bent out of shape, Lisa broke down in tears and dashed out a hot race out of the scene to the bus. She entered and after a few minutes the bus drove off. She was strengthened by her friends in the bus, and it was only a matter of time she brought back that warm, calm and pretty smile again. Back home, there was conflict and heat argument between Lisa's dad, Mr. Molten, and his brother, Mr. Partey. Mr. Party had unprofessional carried out a contract in Rollin empire that resulted in loss of millions of dollars. Mr. Molten, furious with the recent development, immediately called the company's attorney in law with the aim of filing a lawsuit against Mr. Partey who angrily walked away. A loud noise was heard outside Mr. Molten's house. It sounded like the hurricanes. It's the school bus that just arrived to drop Lisa at her home. Like her usual practice, She brought out a piece of dollar and handed it to the driver. “Thanks for the ride and have a safe trip back home”, she said with a warm smile on her face as she dropped off the bus. “Say Hi to your dad” yelled the driver. She ran straight into the house, met her dad sitting on the couch, “daddy, daddy, guess what”, she said. “Hey cut the crap, you know am not good at guessing”, Mr. Molten responded. After several unsuccessful attempts by Her dad, she then broke the news to her dad about her achievement in school. Excited, Mr. Molten promised his daughter a holiday trip to the Bahamas for her achievement. “You know what baby, a trip to the Bahamas for your achievement and a brand-new Ferrari sport SP40 if you bring home the award”, Her dad said. “I love you dad”, Lisa replied excited as she hugged and gave a warm kiss to her dad. She made a move to her room, and on her way she bumped into her Uncle at the exit door. “Hey uncle, sorry I bumped into you, I didn't even know you're around”, she said and smiled. Her uncle stood glancing at her, His head springing with thoughts on what could have triggered the happiness on Lisa's face. Lost in his subconscious, Lisa observed and made a hit on his hand and he made a frightened comeback, “Hey uncle, you are ok”?, she asked. “Hope you're going to be around a couple of hours”?, she asked again, as she intends to also inform him of her achievement. She made her exit filled with excitement. A heavy mighty wind reeves heavily on the earth, one could tell it's angry. Trees dancing as they feel the impact of the wind. A great storm travelling from the North side to the south. Lisa and her dad travelling in their car could see the storm approaching their direction. This made them to increase their speed just to avoid the storm. Lisa, in the car, was frightened, panting, scared of everything. She was almost losing consciousness. “Daddy please can you slow down a bit”, she cried out. “Hang on baby, I'm doing this to avoid us being caught up by the storm”, Mr. Molten courageously replied as he continues his speed. Lisa covered her eyes with her hands as she tries to get rid of her fears. They eventually outran the wind, which has now reduced its tenacity as everything gets calmed gradually. Mr. Molten slowed down, looked at his daughter, who has now removed her hands from her eyes. He held his daughter on the head while driving as he apologized to her for putting her through that trauma, and Lisa smiled in return. They drove some distance, but not getting to their destination, their car broke down close to a mountain clave. “Daddy, what is the problem”, Lisa asked distressed. “Don't worry baby, just hang on here while I try to fix the car, I'll be back shortly”, Mr. Molten said. He reached out to open the car, opened it, about to step out and turned back to his daughter and said, “stay here and don't step out”. “Okay, daddy" Lisa struggled to respond as she is now becoming scared. Mr. Molten went out, opened the car bonnet as he tried to figure out the reason for the breaking down. Panting, Lisa could be seen looking outside the window as she battles with her fears. She looked towards her left and saw something moved so fast, she had never seen anything like that before. She wondered what that could have been.
