The Lost Artifacts Of Zudnir

In the ancient city of Shumpak, there was a king named Zudnir. He was the mighty king of Shumpak. The kingdom of Shumpak was created by the Gods as their worshippers. Zudnir was created by the Gods to lead the kingdom of Shumpak. He was known to be a great leader and never lost any battles that he fought. But what made him strong was the artifacts that he received from the Gods and Goddesses. These artifacts can be wielded only by those who are worthy and capable of using it. Until one day, these artifacts made Zudnir greedy for more power and because of this, he fought the Gods and Goddesses with all of his power in search for more power. He failed and his artifacts were taken by the Gods and Goddesses. Zudnir was burned to death by the God and the Goddesses in the flames of a star named Zonshus. In anger, the Gods and the Goddesses become mad and wreak havoc in the city of Shumpak. Lots of plagues and disasters destroyed the kingdom of Shumpak and killed its civilians. It was believed that the kingdom of Shumpak was buried underground and was hidden for good and all the artifacts of Zudnir were left buried in the ancient city of Shumpak... "Now get some rest and sleep Carter. The night is growing." His grandma said. Carter asked his grandma, "When did all this happen grandma?" His grandma answered, "Well there is no exact date when it happened as it was believed to have occurred before time was invented by the Gods but I believed that even in these days the kingdom of Shumpak still exists but is hidden in the deepest depths of the earth." Carter said proudly, "When I become old enough I will be an archaeologist to find the lost kingdom of Shumpak!" His Grandma added while smiling, "I'm sure you will find it one day Carter. Find it for me." "I will Grandma! But are there any clues that were told in the story where it can be found?" He said. "Well according to my memory there are no clues that were mentioned in the tale." His grandma said doubtfully. "Awww," He sadly said. "How am I supposed to look for it when I don't even have any clue where I can find it?" He added. "Well that's what makes finding it fun. You need to find all the clues you can to find it! Now go to sleep." His grandma said happily. Carter loves stories and fantasies, especially mysteries, he is a smart kid and always at the top of his class. Carter is still in middle school, he has a friend named Evan that he met from his school. They’re both 12 years old, Carter spends most of his time with his friend Evan. Evan is a smart kid who prefers facts over fate. He doesn't believe in Gods or in any religions as he believes that science should prove it first, while Carter believes that not everything can be proven by science. Carter was sleeping when suddenly he had a vision, all he could see was the vast amount of stars where he was floating and unable to move his body. Carter suddenly heard a whisper in his ear. "I am he who defies God's will, be my successor and receive unimaginable power." The unknown voice whispered to Carter. It was now morning and Carter goes to school with his friend Evan "Have you heard about the kingdom of Shumpak Evan?" Carter said. "Did you believe again in those fantasy tales by your grandma?" Evan said. "I'm sure that this story is real Evan, just listen ok?" Said Carter as he tries to convince Evan Evan sighed while saying. "Ok let's get this story over while we're still on the bus." Carter told the story of the kingdom of Shumpak for a while even though Evan was not buying his story... "Well how can it be real if there is no exact date when this happened and where it can be found?" Evan added. Carter said, "Not everything can be proved by science, there are a lot of things that science cannot prove." "Whatever you say, Carter, I still prefer facts over beliefs." Evan said. They reached the school and someone stood up in front of them. "Hey nerds, where's my lunch money?" Brandon said. "We are not giving you our money Brandon, leave us alone!" Evan cried. "Ohh, the nerd is talking back now!" Brandon said arrogantly. Brandon punched Evan and knocked him on the ground. Brandon smirked and walked away like he did not do anything wrong. "Are you ok Evan? should I call the teachers?" Carter said, panicking. "I'm fine, let's just go to class now dude." Evan said. After class Carter went to Evan's house to play some games. After playing they watched some movies until nightfall. "I need to go now Evan, it's getting pretty late, let's play again some time, see ya!" Carter said happily. "Ok take care bro!" Evan said. While walking home, Carter finds a note on the ground and out of curiosity, he reads it. "In lifeless place you shall find, Where the ancient city hides, Buried deep on the underground, Where artifacts might be found." Carter had no idea what the writings were all about so he just placed it in his pocket. Carter got home and the day ended before he knew.
