A new foe or enemy?

Chapter 3: Protection needed and a day spent together part 1

After the ninjas except Lloyd woke up, they groaned. Kai shot up however and raced to Lloyd's side, shaking his arm gently "Greenie wake up! Come on!" He said with a pleading voice, however while Jay and Cole helped Zane up, who smiled at the two.

"Thank you, Cole and Jay" he said politely as he looked at Kai, he walked over "Kai..he will awake soon, do not worry" Zane said with a soft and calm voice to try and soothe his friend down, in any hopes of it that is. Kai was shaking abit, you see. Kai loved Lloyd, but he feared to tell him. He wanted to tell him how much he loved him, he had grown to see him as a brother but after the accident with Garmadon bringing back the Grundle, when they splashed that pinky thing on the ground and it turned them all back to their normal ages, but for Lloyd..it turned him into a teenager, and it took out his childhood. Kai felt bad for him, but grew to love him.

Soon enough, Lloyd gasped for breath and started coughing. He looked at the others "What the hell happened?!" He asked, his eyes widened "We have to go to my dad and the snake girl-! We have to warn him-!" He said and shot up, he knocked Kai over. Not realising this, the other ninjas stared wide eyed. That would of normally angered Kai, so they expected him to get angry. However, he did not. Kai pulled Lloyd into a hug. He gave a sigh of relief, knowing his teammates was fine but ??? ???? ?? ??? ???? was also okay.

Zane chuckled gently at them "It seems that Kai has gotten a more..softer side towards Lloyd Garmadon after all." He said to Cole, who smiled at one of his lovers.

Lloyd shot away from Kai and started running towards the monastery of his father and his 'new little sister'. He was shift and quick, he ran in and ran towards where they was before he heard the laughing of Pythor. His eyes shrunk and he gave an energy burst to open the door to the room "DAD?! LITTLE SISTER?!" He shouted, he looked frantic. He saw them, his eyes returned to normal until he noticed that they was in the air, Onna/Anna crying with Garmadon in the air, not moving. He was knocked out/unconscious. Lloyd shouted for the other ninjas who ran into the room, Kai's arms alit. Shining brightly in what was originally a dimly lit room.

"Ah ah ah. I'd not do anything if I were you~" A voice rung out. Cole punched his hands together as a soft golden glow came from them "LEAVE OUR FRIENDS ALONE PYTHOR! WHAT DO YOU EVEN NEED WITH THEM?!" Cole shouted. He was slowly angered by the fact that Pythor always found a way to mess up a good day, kinda. A chuckle was heard "Simple. I want the girl. She's a fine mix of Snake and Human. She withholds a great power so I want her to come home and train in the ways of a snake solider. She could be the best one!" He said and made himself visible before laughing at the ninjas. "Oh how pitiful! Garmadon was given a pathetic child to raise! He doesn't know let anything about Fangpyre's!" The snake hissed to the ninjas. Lloyd's eyes widened, while Garmadon slowly began to gain consciousness. Pythor chuckled at the ninjas "You failed to forget" Pythor held up the small female who began to cry and scream. Her fangs slightly dripping venom but not enough to turn something into a weapon for snakes.

Onna/Anna was crying and screaming because of Pythor, she hasn't seen another snake for and a good few hours. Lloyd noticed this and began to make an energy ball. He made it and kept it between his hands. He was looking for a direct hit to Pythor. He couldn't even try and hurt the small female. He looked to his father "Dad..How-?" He went to ask but his eyes shrunk when he realised that caused the ball to be shot towards Pythor and Onna. Onna was crying, now she had turned against Pythor and clung to him. Pythor quickly turned invisible and got out of the way with her and Garmadon. Pythor gave a low growl like hiss at Lloyd. Garmadon got down from Pythor's grasp. He glared "Give me back the girl, I don't want to fight you Pythor." He said, he looked at the ninjas slightly as a sign to allow them to fight "Pythor, we can raise her together. Two weeks for each of us." He said.

Onna slowly felt calm as she went to try and get away from Pythor but he dropped her into a small pit made with his tail/body. He stared at Garmadon and narrowed his eyes "And why sshould I believe you? After what happened in the sserpentine wars?" He hissed at him. While Pythor was distracted by Garmadon speaking. Jay sneaks around behind him. He quickly snatched the small child away from him and ran back to the others. He held her as Pythor glared. Lloyd started to make an energy ball "Stay Away From My FAMILY" Lloyd snapped slightly and shot the energy blast at Pythor. The blast hit him in the chest and it made him fall back a few meters away from the ninjas and Garmadon. Garmadon rushed over to Jay and took Onna. He held her close "I swear to you, Pythor. We can train her alternatively." He spoke

Pythor began to laugh at this. He loved seeing the others believe he'd care. He slithered up to Garmadon "The day I work with humanss with an actual care in my heart is the day before I die." He said and slithered out, however he technically had what he had came for. He held up a vile with some of the small girls venom. He smirked "Alwayss sso gullible...esspecially as a child." He said to himself as he slithered away.

Lloyd panted abit, the energy to create the energy ball had came from him, he can manipulate the amount once he makes a small one for an attack when in battle. He ran over to his father and hugged him. He clutched onto his robes "Why do you want to protect her?! She's the reason this happened father!" He said abit angered. He never knew him growing up. Not fully. Only from a certain point then things went haywire. He didn't want to loose the chance again. He didn't particularly want to have a small 'sister' that was technically SNAKE! 'She will end up leaving and starting another war. I can feel it..' Lloyd thought, he however got pushed off by Garmadon "Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon.." His father said slowly. Before Garmadon sighed "You all can stay here for tonight. But put your weapons away. And do not take them out until you leave." He said, angered by his sons outburst about the small child.

Cole took notice to the now upset Lloyd, seeing his eyes waver due to the tears. He also saw a small red flash of his eyes 'His Oni side..' he thought to himself. He then thought and spoke "How about tomorrow, we all spend the day together! We can get The girlie used to the place so she could be free to wonder." He suggested to which Garmadon nodded, this made Cole bow as if to give the indication that he wanted to know where they'd be allowed to stay. Garmadon gasped abit at the rudeness "Oh! You may stay in here. It may not be the safest room but it is better than staying in a dojo or somewhere." He said softly as he looked at Onna "Let's take you on a 'Moonlight Stroll' little one.." he said gently as he stood up with Onna in his arms, he put a cloak on and held her close to keep her warm and to give warmth off to keep the both of them warm. He also took a lantern and went out for a stroll with Onna.

Onna looked around her, she took notice to the many trees. Before Garmadon started to speak "Krux would of loved you.." he mentioned the name in a tone that indicated something had happened to him "If..He hadn't of done something." He walked and held her close "Acronix would of..probably adored you.." he mentioned the names of the Time Twins. He sighed "They'd probably would of loved you and treated you like family..and Lloyd..if they didn't end up the way they had.." he said, he sat her down on the grass and held his hand out "Come on, can you walk Anna?" He asked to which Onna blinked, she noticed he stood abit away with his arms out. She got up and started to walk towards him. She however heard a noise in the trees and began to try and run towards Garmadon who quickly picked her up. He pulled her close to his body "Who's there?!" He shouted, he looked around the place. He however saw a bunny rush out of the bushes to which he smiled softly "It's okay a bunny" he said as he sat her down. He then let her grab onto his hand so she could walk next to him

About after an hour and a half the two returned seeing everyone asleep, except Lloyd. He sat Onna down and she crawled to Lloyd. She tried to crawl onto his lap before he gave in and picked her up and sat her on his lap "Father..Why do you plan on protecting her? She could or may turn against us when she is older..I just fear that. I don't want you hurt" he said softly, his eyes flashed a small red which Garmadon gasped from 'No no..I'm so sorry Lloyd..' he thought and walked over to him "Lloyd, I found this note with her. She is the child of Snappa and Kuchisake, Kuchisake is a woman with no fear and stays strong on one thing. Killing but if I raise her in the way of the ninja, she will be focused on that." He explained gently. He smiled at Lloyd "Get some sleep Lloyd, you'll need it for tomorrow." Lloyd looked at his father than the small girl in his lap "...I hope you're right father. For your sake." He said before laying down, pulling a cover over himself. He layed Onna next to him "Goodnight, Little Sister" he said before he fell asleep.

The next day

Kai wipe up earlier than the rest, he yawned. He realised today was Halloween before he gasped silently 'Wait! It's Halloween! We could dress up later on and in a way be normal after agood few years of fighting!' He thought happily, he got up and looked at Lloyd, noticing Onna curled up against him. He smiled softly 'Does he finally trust her I wonder?' He thought to himself as he went to the dojo and started to train on his own until one of the others woke up. A few minutes later, Zane groaned from the room and heard groans and grunts from the dojo. He looked around and noticed Kai wasn't there

'Ah, good morning to you too sleepyhead..' He said to himself as he got up and fixed the sheets he used as well as Kai. He went to the dojo and chuckled slightly "Good Morning Kai" he said happily, he knew that the others would awake soon. He walked over to Kai and got into a fighting stance "You was training alone, you could of woken me up Kai. I'd not of minded!" He said as he then sparred/trained with Kai until around 6:30 AM. Where Garmadon woke up and yawned, he looked around and clapped his hands, a student shot up and ran to ring the Gong.

The student rung the gong, which caused the other students and the ninjas to groan and whine. Lloyd shot up with Onna, he covered her ears as he glared. His eyes flashed red again because he was angered by the sound waking him up. Garmadon walked over and gently took Onna from Lloyd "Lloyd, calm down. It's the way how I get my students up, it's a normality for us" he explained softly. He then looked to Onna and hummed.

Jay laughed "Why don't we all go out today like we said yesterday? We can go to the museum and see Dr. Saunders! I heard he's a new worker there!" He said happily as he grinned "Or we can go to the town and get some clothes for the little one~!" He said happily as he watched Onna try and look for Zane to which she couldn't find him, he noticed the small tears that began to well up in her eyes as he called for Zane who picked up Onna from Garmadon who gave a nod to the ice ninja, Zane smiled at the small girl "Why cry little one? I was only talking to one of the others, it's okay" he said watching as she fell calmer in his hold, he sighed. He realised she was too hot so he caused his body to give off a cooling effect as he slightly used his element to make her cool down abit.

Garmadon stared shocked but happy that Onna had been calmed down by the soothing feeling from ice but he was surprised by it "How did you know that it would soothe her?" He asked as he turned and walked to Lloyd before giving his son a hug. "There's spare clothing for all of you in the dorms, I am sure you’d not want to wear your gi’s.” He said to which Zane nodded with a smile “I sense this little one will be wanting to cling to only a few of us today. Everyone else can get dressed then I’ll go get dressed to causal clothing so she knows we won’t be leaving her.”

Jay laughed abit “I think she’s already chosen her favourite ninja and that’s you, Zane!” He said to which Zane smiled happily ‘I’m a babies favourite ninja..How lovely’ he thought as he waited for the others to get dressed into casual clothing and then he gave Onna to Jay as he went to get dressed himself. He came back to see Lloyd holding a crying Onna. This annoyed Zane as he had wanted them all to get along so he walked over and asked “And just WHY is she crying?!” Zane snapped to the green ninja who sighed and said “She’s hungry, Zane. But the note that my dad found with her doesn’t say what she can and cannot eat..” to which Zane sighed. “I will deal with it, but you guys act like the worst babysitters!” He said as he watched them all leave expect Garmadon as he searched through through the baskets to find anything, he frowned as he didn’t.

Kai felt ratherly bad for this so he went to ask Zane if he could do a quick research on her by scanning her to see if they could figure out what she last ate. Zane’s eyes widened as he said that it was a mouse that had climbed into her basket. Both Garmadon and Kai shivered from that “This will be fun..”
