Chapter 2: Looking through the baskets

Garmadon's POV

I sighed as I sat down in my chambers with Onna, I decided it would be a good idea to look through the baskets that was with her. I looked through the two baskets as I then blanked as I found another note

'Dear whoever finds our precious daughter,

We trust you and whoever you work with will protect her from the Anacondrai if there is anymore of these brats, Hypnobrai, rest of the fangpyre, Constructai and Venomari. These will want to destroy her. She is not a normal Fangpyre. Please keep her from harms sake..I beg you. The more time you spend with her the more time you will understand. She is five years old..but she doesn't seem it..please..do keep her safe

This made my eyes widen "Pythor will probably on his way now to try and get her.." I mumbled, I sighed as I stood up, I didn't want to fight. But looks I'm going to have to if it means to keep the small girl safe. I frowned realising she would be trained soon..I groaned and smiled softly "Please don't let anything bad happen.." I mumbled as I then walked outside to get something, I almost screamed in pain when a blade was placed against my neck

Pythor's POV

That stupid girl, I need to get rid of her! For many reasons but the main one is because Snappa did something that is forbidden for serpentines. I'll not say what it was. I heard voices of the ninjas 'aha! If anyone is to know of this brats where about it them!' I thought however I heard the green cladded ninja say to the others "Guys..I don't have a good feeling about that girl, I feel like she will turn everything into a snake if she isn't put into prison now..Even if this is my fathers choice in protecting her.." and the way he spoke didn't sound like now he normally would but he sounded..angry or annoyed? That made me smirk as I thought of a way to get past them, turning invisible I went up to them one by one pressing their pressure points. I watched as they dropped down one by one. I smirked, I slithered all the way to the monastery Garmadon resided in. "Time to come home Onna.." I mumbled as I slithered to the monastery. I however stopped when I heard the voice of the ninjas Sensei, who I didn't realise had showed up "Ah..Wu. One of the elemental masters who brought our tribes to them ugly tombs." I said angerily. I turned to face where he was but to see him nowhere "Hm.." I said as I looked around

Wu's POV

I knew my brother wanted that girl safe, since I got a distress signal to the bounty, I went alone, leaving Nya to keep hidden on the bounty abit away. As I got closer and closer I didn't know whether this would be okay or not, I was indeed worried for my students, especially since I knew that something would go wrong, I just didn't want my older brother to get hurt, especially since he is the only family I have left other than Lloyd. As much as I loved my nephew my love for my brother was far greater. Even if he did mistreat me and our father due to the venom of The Great Devourer which tainted his being to slowly be evil, now he was back to before I was worried it would make him depressed. I sighed as I sat on a tree, before pouring boiling tea onto Pythor's tail, causing a small pained scream to come from the male below me. As well as the sound of him slithering off to try and find who did it.

Garmadon's POV

I smiled at Onna, watching as she yawned and curled up on the mattress I layed her next to me on, I covered her up in the blankets that was in the baskets, seeing that it gave comfort to her. I smiled as I saw her fall to sleep, I stayed awake for a bit longer, only to end up falling asleep. I layed on my back until I went into a flashback, fear flodded me because it was of a certain..time I didn't want to remember from an old friend..

In the flashback

(Garmadon's POV(this is younger Garmadon's POV by the way))

I sighed as I smiled at Clouse, we was training together, we both was panting but it was mainly Clouse since he had woken up abit earlier than I did. I walked over to Clouse and pulled his chin up to face me "Clouse, we should make Sensei Chen proud of us both. Yes we go by the motto 'Only One Can Remain' but whose to say he can't be proud of us both for training hard, he isn't awake yet so we could have time!" I spoke with a grin, I however knew that the answer would be no. I knew Clouse wanted to he just couldn't as he'd always listen to Chen's instructions. We had to train and one had to win. I knew he loved spending time with me however, but I didn't like spending time with him as I liked Misako. Well..both me and my brother, Wu. Wu liked her first if I remember correctly but that was because of her looks if I remember rightly..Hahaha..I loved her for how she was in general. But I had feelings for someone else as well. The feelings was for Clouse as well. I liked Misako more however..For hours me and Clouse trained, as we did, at times I couldn't help but tease the other, saying about his posture, the fact that even though we wasn't allowed to use Spinjitzu I'd win against him in a fight using Spinjitzu and some other things, of course he glared at me for it, I found it quite amusing..

Clouse's POV

I groaned as Garmadon teased me during training, Sensei Chen had walked out and heard some of the things, he found it amusing. I tried my best to ignore what Garmadon was saying, not very happy with it. I didn't know if I'd be able to ignore him much longer as some of the teases became physical teases! I quietly fell to the ground as I glare at the other male, he slowly annoyed me.. "UGH! You're annoying Garmadon! Go train by yourself!" I snapped without hesitation, seeing that it changed his demeanour. I noticed that his eyes went red, my own eyes shrunk slightly, I knew I messed up. I watched as he walked into the monastery and slammed the door, I winced. I stood up and went inside to find Garmadon "Garmadon wait!" I spoke only to hear him talking to Chen, I narrowed my eyes abit 'Is he telling Chen..?' I thought to myself as I then sighed and went to the shared room, I sat down and I felt..saddened by my actions.
