THE DAWN (VOL. 2).
Ngozi, a smart and brilliant girl came from a poor family ~ a very humble background but could not cater for their personal need. They were so poor to the extent that their friends, relatives, neighbours began to desert them. They were disheartened at the turning out of things but they still hoped on God for their sustenance. The couple Mr. and Mrs. Godwin Ifeanyi, fervent Christians in a local assembly they attend, they prayed and cryed their hearts to God to give them a child. After long persistency in prayer and waiting upon the LORD, He remembered them and gave them their heart desire - a girl; a beautiful damsel ~ NGOZI meaning the blessings of God, ngozichukwu. Truly the coming of this girl into their lives really brought the blessings of God on the family but it came at the 'APPOINTED TIME'. God knew that if He just bless them immediately without much pressure they would at a while despise Him, so He allowed them suffer for a while too and then give them a lasting blessing so as to chisel the spirit of PRIDE from them. God is an all - knowing God!. He sees the unseen. Where human eyes, minds, and hearts could not see, reach, think nor imagine, He sees it wide and beyond. In all these scenario, God was training them through 'PATIENCE' so that when He finally blesses them, they would maintain it and not despise it, like, Esau despised his birthright and went away unconcerned. (Gen. 25:34c;)(NIV). The couple decided to move into trade. They opened a small restaurant just beside the road and began selling foodstuffs and other eatable items. They toiled and toiled and got the little funds on which they used to enroll Ngozi into a kindergarten. As so, and as God may have it, Ngozi was bright, very intelligent. She outshine all her mates and always came first in her class no matter how the class was so competitive. Because of how brilliant Ngozi was, she was given a double promotion; she did not pass through Nursery 2(two), she was promoted to Primary 2(two), though her age did not testify to the fact. She was still young just four years yet she was promoted to primary two. Ngozi schooled from primary two to primary four as God was helping her parents to procure out funds for her school fees to be paid. Ngozi's knowledge and brilliancy was more expedite and fast - becoming. She won a scholarship by a teacher in the school who sponsored her education from primary four to primary six. After that he also paid for her common entrance examination, she wrote it and as usual came out in flying colours. The parents were happy for her and thanked the teacher that did this excellent work in her life handsomely. The man said, I just saw that the girl needed help but was in lack, though even with her brilliancy she's always being intimidated in the class by her friends, so due to this she hides herself in a corner and cry alone, so one day I saw her and asked what the matter was and she narrated, while she was done I felt for her and pitied her state then I decided to help her out because I was wealthy. Wow! Thank you sir, so thoughtful of you; my God bless you and continue to uphold you to give. Remember it's more blessed to give than to receive.(At. 20:35b;)NIV. Sure, the teacher said. Mr. Okon, the teacher that loved Ngozi and was encapsulated by her brilliancy said, "I KNOW MY DAUGHTER FOR SURE, THIS IS HER TRYING AND TESTING TIME! SOON HER TESTIMONY WILL BREAK FORTH. I CAN BEAT MY CHEST AND SAY THAT:- YOUR DAUGHTER'S DAWN IS AT THE CORNER, IT WILL SURELY ENFOLD, IT'S JUST AWAITING THE APPOINTED TIME". After these words, the couples were caught into tears, they wept so hard that Ngozi began to console them and the teacher said with smile on his face, hmmm! 'TEARS OF JOY'. JOY MUST SURELY ERUPT FROM THIS FAMILY I PRAY!. The teacher told them, Sir, Ma, I'll like to take my leave, Bye for now!, Ngozi gave him a warm hug and a handshake before he left. That night they prayed for the man so well that the power from their prayers miraculously healed his sick mother who was at the verge or point of death ~ the man's money couldn't procure her healing. Six weeks after, arm robbers burgled into their shop and stole virtually everything that was there just living only the pure water bags but the small fridge they bought, the fan, the cookers, stove and small 2.5 kg gas cooker they were managing, all were gone. The man said, Ah! My life is ruined! but he never knew what God was doing behind the scene, it was at that point that God was preparing for them such a huge downpour of His blessings. Ngozi sat down and thought of what to start doing to relieve and help out her family from the grave of poverty and its grip. She sat at a corner in the room and muttered to herself, meanwhile she was still little, just 9 years of age. She cryed, wept to the extent that her eyes were bloody red and they bulged out hard. The mother came and saw her in that hopeless state and said to her, My daughter, my one and only daughter, you are my pride, pls don't let this incidence take your life away. Dear take it easy on yourself, don't be harsh on yourself, you hear, my love, asa nwam, she stood her up and cuddled on the breast, suddenly she began to smile and hugged the mother passionately. One day, while she continued and kept thinking about what next to do but they aren't forthcoming, she decided to sell those few pure water in their restaurant. Later on, the mother got to know about this decision of hers but declined, she said, No, my dear you can't do hulking rather I'll find a place where you can start doing tailoring work since you're in quest of helping our humble shame. Meanwhile, my best friend's son is a tailor, I hope he'll coach you on some things. Thank you mama, Ngozi said joyously, 'What can I do without you'.
