After supper, Daisy, Doris, and Sarah went into Daisy’s sewing room. Daisy rummaged around in the closet and brought out a box of bracelet-making materials. She carried the box over to her cutting table and opened it. Inside were strips of leather dyed different colors.
Daisy took out one of the strips and showed it to Doris and Sarah.
“These strips are used for the base. They are soft and will not irritate your arm. We can get them already colored for different backgrounds, so they do not have to be colored. We have the tiny beads to make the design with and the tiny needle is used to attach the beads to the leather to make the design. There are long thin strips of leather to tie the bracelet to the arm.”
