KIARA REGRETS HER ACTIONS

The soft glow of morning light brushed Kiara's eye waking her up ”ughh' she yawned lazily and twisted sharply, irritation curling through her as the sudden light invaded her eye

"Good morning” she heard a familiar masculine voice greet. She sat up in terror and saw a tall clean, good-looking man with neatly shaved hair and a beard, his body was well built with those lovely puffy eyes, she was almost lost in gazing

” Good morning hot chick ” Lucas repeated playfully, Kiara was brought back to reality

"Um... excuse me.... what are you doing in my room?” confused Kiara asked, she tried to get up from the bed, then she realized she wasn't wearing clothes. "OMG!! what the hell happened here" realizing she wasn't even in her room, that was when last night's memory came flooding into her mind

"What did I do, what did I do" she screamed as she rushed to the bathroom ignoring Lucas to freshen up and dress up

As she on the shower, last night's memories came pouring on her like the water was pouring on her head, how she got tipsy and lustful kept replaying in her head

"How did I end up like this" she muttered to herself in disappointment, she couldn't imagine sleeping with a guy she just met in a bar " in a f*****g bar, what has gotten into you, Kiara” she cursed herself

Lucas was sitting on the bed rather confused or disappointed by her actions that morning trying to replay everything that happened last night but he didn't find anything wrong with it, it was just two adults making out, he thought to himself

Immediately, Kiara came out of the bathroom all dressed, went for her bag and wristwatch then headed to the door

" Kiara!!"Lucas called out

"Don't f*****g call my name you pervert" she cursed at him

She halted just as she reached the doorknob, then turned to Lucas and asked him "Did you use a condom?". Praying in her heart that he would at least take the right measure

Lucas looking all confused replied "No, but I did withdra....."

"Ohh s**t, screw you, you bloody mother fucker" Furious, Kiara snapped at him, slammed the door behind her then left

Lucas was lost in his own thoughts puzzling over what he had done wrong, after all the girl came at him first

"She flirted first" he said to himself as if trying to justify what just happened, the memories of how Kiara whispered hot words to his ear flashed through his mind, he shrugged it off after all he enjoyed last night

The doorbell rang loudly " I'm coming" Fred yelled as he walked to open the door

"Where the f**k have you been, I called you all night, you didn't even bother to pick my calls or even call back, I was worried, you know...." Fred kept blabbing

"Oh please, the last thing I need now is you lecturing me" Kiara cut in

Ferdinand is Kiara's older brother, they lived together with their mum, but their mum had been in the hospital after being diagnosed with some terminal chronic illness and she was a single mum, so it was just the three of them

"lecturing? really, I'm now lecturing you, you left house yesterday only to come back without any word to anybody, wow" he scoffed

Kiara ignored him, she just kept on pacing in the sitting room looking all worried

"Hey, Fred call calmly seeing how worried she was looking "Are you okay? " What happened?"

"Nothing," Kiara snapped at him not wanting to talk about how she embarrassed herself

But Fred had always known how to calm her younger sister down. He held her hand and pulled her close enough to give her a hug

"What's the problem kitty, you know you can always tell me anything right?" he asked softly

He always calls her that (kitty) when she is angry and somehow it manages to calm her down

Fred heard her sniff on his shoulder "Come on, talk to me, what happened" he asked looking very concerned

"It's Vince" she said in tears

"What did he do, did he hit you?" Fred asked

” No, he broke up with me, he caused all this mess" she lamented pushing all the blame on her ex

"Which mess, how explain" Fred kept asking

"Vince broke up with me last night, I decided to go to the bar cause I was freaking, after 4 years of my life, he left me, Fred he f*****g broke my heart after everything" she kept crying

" And?..." Fred kept asking because he knows there is more to the story "What then happened at the club or bar?"

Kiara explained how she met a guy named Lucas in the club and ended up sleeping with him

'" I was drunk I swear, I didn't know what happened to me, I just woke up in his bed with a memory of what happened last night "she concluded

Fred was taken aback, he was shocked at first but then he asked the same question Kiara asked "Did he use protection"

Kiara kept quiet "Don't tell me he didn't" Lucas added furiously

"I don't know, as I said, I was just drunk, I can't recall how it happened" she cried

"Dress up let's go to the hospital" Fred sat up trying not to panic. Kiara changed into more comfortable and free clothing and followed Fred to the car

Fred has always vouched for her sister's love affair and was displeased with the breakup stuff

"It's okay I just want to be sure I didn't get any sexually transmitted disease from last night '' she stated as if knowing her brother's worry

Kiara breathed out heavily, she really thought that she would end up marrying Vince because they had really gone too far. She sighed '" It's for the best " she muttered

The result came out negative and she took some medication as a preventive measure, did some other lab tests before coming home alone. Her brother had already left for work

She came back alone as she was about to prepare something she would eat because she hasn't eaten since today

"Ooh, no," Kiara exclaimed, she forgot she had an interview for a remote job she applied to a few weeks ago, luckily for her, she remembered a few minutes before the actual time for the interview, she dressed up in an office work corporate gown took her laptop and did her interview

A few minutes later she was done, she heavied a sigh of relief then pulled her dress into something more comfortable to prepare lunch

She yawned tirelessly gazing at the ceiling thinking of how things haven't been going her way. She just lost her previous job weeks ago, now her boyfriend is sleeping with a man she barely knows, tears rolled down her eyes
