I wasn’t sure I made the right choice when I brought my mother to the house. I had brought up the idea before, and she had seemed... scared, to say the least. She had definitely not liked it, and maybe I was pushing her too hard, but I thought it would be good for her to visit the past.
She carried a lot of guilt, and she needed to let go of it so she could see just how perfect she was to be luna, and it meant she could stay here with Logan too.
Of course, I wanted my mother around, and it would be great if there wasn’t an entire ocean between my boys and their grandmother, but still, I wanted her to be here. I wanted this pack to have a leader who actually wanted what was best for them, not just for themselves.
