-Lauren- We arrived at our old house. On the outside, it was still so beautiful, but I knew a lot of darkness hid inside of it. In a way, I kind of wanted to burn it to the ground, because it was also here that Chris had died. I stood for a long time just looking at it, my daughter standing beside me, and I slowly turned to her. She smiled encouragingly, but I was not sure why she had brought me here. “Why here?” I questioned. “I thought it was time we both visited the past a little. Maybe it is what you need in order to figure it all out and move on, or maybe you will see just how strong you are,” she said. I understood what my daughter was trying to do, and I was willing to go inside with her and try to see if it might work, but I was not sure it would. In a way, I was just so angry
