Goodbye and Hello

I told Hogue all I'd uncovered about Natalia, including the fact that the young business tycoon had a son whom she kept hidden from the public. I had no idea why she needed to do that. However, if it could be related to the real father of the child, then it was another intriguing story. I had just finished securing my belongings on the luggage when I sensed Hogue behind me. He had his hands on my waist. "If Natalia demands you to start this day, you must first report to Stanley; at the very least, he will understand why you will be unable to report to work for the next several days; it means you're on a mission." "Oh my..." I turned around to face him. "That's right, I almost forgot, but for the moment being, the information about Natalia is only between us, okay?" "Of course, babe. My mouth is sealed till you do the mission." He pinched my nose. "You're too enthusiastic to live with Natalia, aren't you? ” My face became hot. "That's not the case, Hogue. Remember, as my first big project, this is critical to my future as a journalist. So, I believe my mind is simply preoccupied. I really don't want to screw it up." "Hey, I'm just kidding. Don't take it seriously," he laughed as he bowed and kissed my lips. "But you know what, honestly, I don't see why she requires you to live with Natalia when you can report to her every day like corporate workers. We can move to San Diego anyway and get a new flat. She is only increasing my dislike for her. The b***h is taking you away from me." "That's fair enough. She also dislikes reporters," I joked as I continued to explain. "But I think it's more practical to stay with them because the boy truly needs attention. Unlike in the workplace, you can leave at any time because you are only working with figures and data. Natalia's son, on the other hand, appears to be having issues. I may be living with them as a spy, but the truth is... I want to help the kid as well. I know what it's like to be neglected.” "I know, babe," Hogue said softly as he ran his fingers through my hair. With his other hand on the small of my back, he drew me in closer. "However, keep in mind that this is simply for work. Don't get too attached to the child, especially Natalia. Do you understand? ” I slowly nodded. I'll be gone in the mansion before they realize it." Hogue locked his attention on mine for a little while. He began to touch me in such a way that my skin buzzed. “What are you doing?” "Charley, you know I'm going to miss you because we won't see each other for a long time. So…" He leaned and whispered in my ear. His breath was hot across my skin, like fire. "Would you like to make love to me before you leave?" "Y-yes," I moaned, biting my bottom lip "I want to offer you something to look forward to, something to motivate you when you're feeling down... and something to remind you that there is someone who cares about you and loves you." I should be hurrying now because I only have a few hours before I have to drop by the Daily Express and return to Natalia's mansion. However, as Hogue kissed my lips and stripped off all of my clothes, time seemed to stand still. He was completely naked a few seconds later. He pushed me onto the couch and went to get a condom. "Do you perhaps want to do this in the bedroom?" I watched him neatly wrap the condom around his erection. When he leaped on top of me like a hungry lion, I couldn't help but giggle. "I'm sorry, baby. But we both know we won't be able to make it to the bedroom..." he hissed in my ear as he parted my legs wide. I gasped and grabbed his arms tight as he thrust his rock-hard shaft into me and began slamming against my sweated skin with no finesse, like a ravenous animal. The quick s*x we had together was more intense. I'd lost track of how he got me to my climax. Perhaps because our time was restricted and we will be separated again as before. Hogue was here in Los Angeles, while my temporary residence, Natalia's home, was in San Diego. o0o Time flew by like a bullet after I left Hogue's apartment. Hours ago, I was speaking with Stanley about my assignment, and he was tapping my shoulder in delight as if I was his favorite employee. The next thing I knew, I was standing in front of the mansion's massive front entrance. Lydia's thin brows furrowed as she looked at her watch. "You're an hour late, for God's sake!" "I know there's no excuse for coming late, Lydia, but there was a car accident in the center of the highway, which caused traffic to back up." My shoulders tensed. I bowed my head and stared down at my feet in embarrassment as if I'd committed a deadly sin. "Please give me another chance. This is my first time in this city and if you fire me, I won't know where to go because I've already left my flat." "Enough," she grumbled, rolling her eyes. "You're still lucky Miss Natalia is still in the office. If she's the one who found out you were late, you'll never get another chance." I couldn't help but take her hand and leap up and down. "Oh, Lydia, I don't know how to thank you enough! Thank you for considering me!" "Will you just quit acting like a child?" I froze as soon as I let go of her hands. "I'm sorry. I'm just so overjoyed." "Well, you should be, since you can go to bed right now. Your work starts tomorrow, so go straight to your room and settle your stuff," she added as she twisted to her heels. "Why go straight to bed? How about Austin?" I asked as I followed her upstairs. "The kid is already fast asleep. But he wakes up early which is why I'm suggesting you get some rest now. If he wakes up before you, you're done, and there's nothing I can do about it." "Right, I'm not going to blow my second chance," I smiled. When we got to the second floor, she pointed to the door adjacent to Austin's room. "That is going to be your room." I gave a nod. "All right, Lydia, thank you once more, and goodnight." She nodded and began walking down the corridor. I believe she still has a big chunk of office work to complete. That was what her corporate suit was telling me. I walked into my room a few seconds later. It was more beautiful and wider than I had anticipated. The walls and curtains were immaculately white. The bed, on the other hand, was so inviting that I jumped onto it immediately after placing my bags by the wardrobe. As I glanced at the ceiling, I couldn't help but be excited about this new setup. I'd always liked adventures, and this one was even better – a reporter watching over my target. When I spoke with Stanley a few hours ago, he was so overjoyed that he had announced to the newsroom that I had succeeded in getting around Natalia — something that none of them had done yet, according to the chief. I decided to get out of bed because I couldn't sleep. Lydia told me a while ago that if I got hungry, I may go to the kitchen at any moment. But all I needed was a glass of water. I was about to go down the stairs when I heard a familiar voice echoing across the living area. "Just don't make any noise, Amanda, or everyone in this home will wake up." Natalia? I was still standing behind the stair railing when I noticed Natalia resting on the couch in the living room. I wanted to approach her and inform her that I was already inside. However, she appeared to be absorbed in a conversation with a blonde woman dressed in a crimson gown who sat next to her. But then I noticed they weren't simply speaking with one another. Because they had already locked lips the second she turned to face the woman.
