ALEXANDER’S POV The tires hummed against the dark pavement as I sped down the empty road, my grip on the steering wheel tightening with every passing second. The city blurred around me, neon lights flickering like ghosts in the night, but my mind was elsewhere trying to calculate and plan for the next line of action to take.
