Hidden Secrets

Authors Note: This is my first story so please go easy on me, and if you have any questions or comments please tell me. I want to make this a good story. ******************************************************************************************** In human history books, it is said that the wars fought were based on human actions, one side evil and the other side good. Depending on which side you stand on, everyone is wrong and you are right. In the magical world, those history books are a little different and it is why all of the races are separated from each other. The wars fought were on who would rule over all; werewolves, fairies, vampires, warlocks, and the list goes on forever. The world was at a peaceful time but as time went on everyone became restless without a ruler. Greedy as humans are they wanted to rule, but were ultimately removed from this world. As a result, they forgot about us, and forgot what magic was all about making the world what it is today dim and lifeless. But that didn't stop the war, it continued day in and day out. When each side became weary of the battle they created a council where each race was represented, and they all followed under one, the Drakes or dragons. Being a Drake was rare, but it meant power, strength, and good luck. There was no better person to take the stand and so they did. However, over time that head Drake passed away from unknown causes and due to the fact, they didn't have an heir only made matters worse. As said before, a drake is a very very rare being making a replacement highly unlikely. With the council in ruins, a werewolf stepped up and had taken the place of the Drake, as they were closer to them than any others. A wolf has many meanings but seeing as they all mean loyal no one seemed to mind. With no problems from any other race, the council continued to work as nothing had ever happened and all is well... so far. *Werewolves* It is said that werewolves find their mates and fall in love right away, without any second-guessing. One sniff of the air and their noses will be engulfed with a wonderful smell that will make their heart yearn for the creator of that smell. Once they have been found the mate bond between him or her is so strong that when they are separated from each other such as death they will slowly wither away to nothing. There has been a prophecy that has been told to werewolves that's said to have been told to us from the moon goddess herself that: In a time of great darkness and great pain there will be hope. When the black hole engulfs the star and tears rain from the sky there will be love found and will send our world into a golden age.
