"Here is your bag." Sherla threw Bella's bag on the gurney.
Bella happily received it. In the real world, had Grace ever carried Bella's bag? Usually, if she was sick like this, she had to take her bag alone after school was over.
Since school was over, Sherla wanted to take Bella home. The school was also getting quieter because most of the students went home. But some students were still at school to join extracurriculars or just hang out.
"Thanks," Bella said with a big smile.
"What?! What did you say just now?"
"THANKS." Bella thanked Sherla by emphasizing her tone.
"Say again?"
"Are you deaf? I said, THANK YOU," Bella said annoyingly.
"Yeah, I was just surprised, you never said thank you before. You usually act as if I am your maid or something,"
Bella sighed. She knew how Bella Jensly treated everyone. She was never friendly, always rude, and always acted as she pleased. Only Sherla was the one who wanted to be her friend. Speaking of which, who wants to be friends with someone like Bella Jensly, anyway?
"I saw your brother going home, including Marco," Sherla said in a bad tone.
In the comic that Bella read, Bella Jensly was the last of two children. She and her brother, Alvin, were only one year apart.
"Then?"
"Hmmm… Then, I saw Marco was with Isha."
"Oh."
Bella answered casually as she walked out of the infirmary, followed by Sherla behind her.
"Just oh?! Aren't you mad?"
"Why should I be angry? It's up to them. I've given up liking Marco. After he kicked the ball and hit my head, my feelings for him faded. Now, I think that he really doesn't care about me anymore. In the infirmary, he was not worried at all," Bella's lengthy explanation made Sherla very surprised.
"What?! You're totally fine, right Bel? Since when did you become so wise?"
To be honest, Sherla was very happy that her best friend finally opened her eyes. Sherla always hated it when Marco and Bella's own brother looked down on her just because of Isha's presence.
"I want to be better. I'm really tired of being a person with negative vibes, hahaha."
According to Bella, it wasn't a mistake if Bella in the comic liked Marco since before Isha came, Bella and Marco were very close. Before Isha came, all the members of the football club treated her very well, as the precursor of the football club was a close friend of his brother and Marco. Yes, they were five friends consisting of Marco, Alvin, Frans, Greg, and Algaz.
"Good grief, my best friend finally learned something," said Sherla, feeling touched while she hugged Bella.
In Bella's heart, she was also fed up with Bella's attitude in the comic as she was so stupid with love that she lost her true self. Maybe with this, she could change Bella's attitude for the better in the comic, hoping that she would not be labeled as an antagonist.
"By the way, was it you who took me to the infirmary?" Bella asked curiously.
"Hmm, I heard it was Marco. You were walking alone after I just left you to go to the cafeteria."
"MARCO?" Bella's eyes widened in shock.
...........
Bella still couldn't believe what she saw in front of her eyes. The gate was so high and looked very majestic.
'If only the gate is just this high, how does it seem on the inside?' Bella uttered her disbelief.
'Is this really my house?' Bella thought to herself as she couldn't ask Sherla, because Sherla would make fun of her amnesia again.
Bella was escorted by Sherla back to her own house along with Bella's chauffeur. How could she go home alone? Bella didn't even know where to go in this comic world.
"Miss, come on in. It's not good to daydream so long."
"Eh, yeah," Bella woke up from her daydream because the Security told her to come in.
"Is this really my house, Sir?"
"You are kidding, right Miss?" the Security chuckled at his employer's behavior.
"You know what, Sir? She's kinda off after getting hit by the ball at her head, buahahahaha!" Sherla said, mocking Bella.
And yes, now Bella was standing right in the middle of the entrance to her house. She was still in awe of the luxury in front of her.
"The house turns out to be more luxurious than what I saw in the comic," Bella said quietly.
It looked like a conglomerate's house. So many large crystal chandeliers were hanging, almost everything was made of gold. She then entered a wide but quiet room as nobody was home. As far as Bella knew, Bella Jensly's parents were really busy and always came home late at night. Moreover, they didn't even go home at times. And Alvin was always busy at his football club. Bella herself wondered why her brother could stay there at night. Does he play soccer until his legs come off? It was impossible, right?
"Hello Miss, what do you want me to cook for you?"
Once again, she was snapped out of her daydreaming because of Mrs. Lia's greeting. Yes, she was Bella Jensly's faithful maid who always greeted her every time she came home from school and she usually prepared food for her.
Bella recalled when she came home from school, her mother would have prepared lunch for her in the dining room. Yes, her mother always prepared food for Bella before she left for work. Bella in real life was not born into a rich family, but her family lived well and was very harmonious.
"Don't worry, Ma'am, I'm not hungry. I just want to rest, I'm really tired."
Mrs. Lia responded by nodding.
Then, she walked toward her room, of course, led by Sherla in front of her because if Sherla didn't lead the way, Bella might get lost in this big house. It turned out that Bella's room was on the second floor, with a pink door and her name on it.
"This is my room?!" Bella asked spontaneously.
"No, this is my cat's room." Mocking Sherla while she rolled her eyes. "Why are you being so weird today, Bell?"
Bella just smiled, and said to herself, 'If I act weird like this, they'll definitely get suspicious. Bella, why can't you shut this mouth anyway?'
When she entered the room, she saw a queen size bed, and a dressing table filled with various skincare, makeup, and tools. It turned out that Bella's clothing room was to the right of her bed, and the toilet was to the left of the front door.
She looked in the mirror.
"It seems Bella in the comic is really pretty, my body is really good, hahaha."
Sherla just shook her head at Bella's strange behavior due to the ball hitting her head earlier.
"You can take care of yourself, right? I want to go home. Sorry, my cat hasn't eaten lunch yet." Said Sherla.
"Do I look like a baby to you? Of course, I can take care of myself. By the way, your cat is so cocky because it needs lunch too haha."
"Whatever," replied Sherla while sticking out her tongue, walking out of Bella's room.
When Sherla came home, the room's atmosphere was quiet. Bella was deep in thought. It still felt like a dream, how could she enter the world of a comic that she often read? Was it because she liked the comic so much?
"Sigh, I want to cry… How do I get out of here anyway?"
She missed and worried about her family in the real world. Were her parents crying seeing her death? Or are they looking for her because she disappeared here? She wanted to go home but she didn't know how to get out of this comic world.
"I will find a way out of here, I don't want to be stuck here forever!"
